I watched the passing cars as they flew down the street. It's funny how many people comply to the school zone speed limit, not much.I liked my seat in Geography, it was by the window that overlooked the schools parking lot, fierce road and the students parking lot across the road, lots to focus on.
Mr arrogant, who was in all my classes but Geography, wasn't here to send me his adorable yet annoying grin.
I was dreading going back to his house. All I needed to do was get out of his car and get in mine and be on my merry way, how hard can that be?
The bell rang signalling the end of the school day. My phone vibrated and at first I imagined it to be the bell but then it comes again.
Meet me by my car in ten.
The message was from an unknown number but probably Mr arrogant.
Don't be late, Princess
The second one read. Yea it was definitely Mr arrogant.
I send a quick reply confirming the plan before leaving.
I meat Lauren in the hall, who's hands were covered in paint from her art class. She was picking up the girls and taking them out for ice cream whilst I get the car and clean up what ever mess Lucy has made before they come back.
"So. Party. Tomorrow. Night" She says through pauses.
"Calm down I can barely hear you"
"There's a party at Vance Heldon's place tomorrow nigh" She practically skips down the hallway, a new spring to her step.
"I can't, one I've got the girls-"
"Lexi has agreed to take the girls" Lexi was Molly's mum.
"And two I start my new job at the bar on Saturday do I really have to go in there with a hangover"
"And that is why you'll stay at mine where I can make you that hangover drink with avocado and shit" Lauren counters.
I wince at that, I've had the drink before when I've gotten drunk, it's not nice.
What happened to me. Normally, I would be jumping at the sound of a party seeing as it doesn't happen much because we're British but here I was making excuses, actual literal excuses.
"Yea I'll go if I can make it" Was what I left it on.
"Sure" I know Lauren Knew that it still wasn't a definite but she didn't try to push it "Well I'll see you later"
"Yea see you later"
She seemed jaunty as she almost skips gracefully down the hallway. What had gotten in to her?
********
"You take your bitter sweet time don't you" Mr arrogant chuckles as I approach.
"And you take your bitter sweet quickness to get down someone's throat" I jeer as I eye a girl walking away who's face was just being devoured by Mr Hollywood.
"Someone's jealous" He chimes as if it's a sweet melody to a song.
"Ha. Me. Jealous." I laugh so much it hurts and I start to regret it "Sorry I don't get jealous especially over assholes"
He puts a hand over his heart like he had actually been shot there, god I hope someone does.
"Ouch, that hurt my poor ego" He juts his bottom lip out looking like a baby and a complete twat.
"Whatever" I clamber into the passenger seat and turn on the radio absentmindedly.
He struggled to back out because of the constant flow of cars behind him. I snort, happy to see someone else in this position other than me.
"So Mr Arrogant, you got a name?"
"Mason" He replies.
"Mason" I repeat slowly, as if I'm trying to savour the way it sounds on my tongue. We eventually leave and the drive just got more nerve wracking as we neared the part of town I don't go to, the rich side. This was the side where I bumped into him this morning.
I was dying to ask him what made his parents move to one of the most expensive parts of London let alone our borough, but was that over stepping a line? A line that I don't even know if we've formed yet or where it should go.
"So, do you think you can kinda tutor me?" Mason asks shyly and I couldn't help the outbreak of my smirk.
"Tutoring in what? Human decency?" I retort.
"Ouch" He gasps over dramatically as if he was dying. There's the bickering I was used to between us "I meant in music or English or something" He shrugs.
"I guess I can see if I can do that" I nod genuinely thinking about it.
I took great interest in the houses as they past. The detail and perfection gone only into the outside makes me want to see the interior of these magnificent buildings.
We turn a sharp corner and it takes me a moment to regain myself and realise that we're here.
"So..." He begins and lets his words linger there, none of us knowing what to say next.
"Well thanks again for the ride to school and back" I break the lingering tension.
"Yea, sure it was no problem" He reassures me.
"So-" We both say at the same time and he gestures for me to go on but I shake my head "You first" I giggle.
"You want to come in?" He offers.
I go to decline but am I really ready to face the stress that I know I will arrive to when I get home, maybe a moment to regroup won't hurt.
"What the hell, Sure" The words escape before I can take them back.
"Great" He cheers, the car shakes as he jumps out a bit to energetically.
What have I just agreed to?
Not only will I be looking further into a beautiful, over million pounds, mansions but I will also be looking further into Mason's life. Breathe.
One word curiosity, the only thing to blame.
Staying away from this boy was not an option, was it? I meant it can't be when he's inviting you into his home. The more I push the more that seems to be pulled.
Well I guess here goes nothing.

Hi guyssss!
THIS IS JUST A FILLER CHAPTER.
So I was originally going to do the whole inside Masons house chapter in this one but seeing as I write 1100 to 1500 words each chapter (sometimes more) I decided that this chapter would get to long and so I'm doing Masons house chapter separately.
There will be a new character that will come into play in the next chapter that will play a big role throughout the book.
Another clue is that they will probably have controversial opinions about him being nice or bad so have a look out for them.
As always.....THANKYOU, if you've gotten this far. I would not be putting time and effort into these works if it wasn't for you guys (and partially cos I enjoy it....ok I do enjoy it a LOT).
I understand that nothing happened in this chapter but brace yourselves for the next one.
Anyways.
Byeeeeee.
