Wednesday.

PE.

Aka hells lesson.

I'm pleased that I'm a good singer, got a good ear for music and play a great deal of instruments but what I'm not pleased about is that I did not get blessed with the sporty trait. Thanks god. Sadly, PE is a compulsory lesson meaning we do it as well as our chosen four A-level subjects.

"It's just basketball, you can manage that can't you?" I can see the concern on Lauren's face but her voice is laced with ten layers of amusement. I always end up embarrassing myself in PE no matter how bad I try not to, todays just no different.

"Hahaha" My falsetto voice sounds empty and dull, I had yet another late night and I was expected to jump about like a frog on steroids.

We walked through the double doors into the gym. I see our usual class which is pretty mixed with football players and math wizzes. However, I observe the other class sitting amongst mine, the football class.

The teachers are meant to put students in classes depending on their skills but they just went ahead and put them in the same classes as their friends so the PE classes are just giant friend groups.

"Hey miss" Lauren says in her childish voice possible.

"Hey girls" Miss Jenny approaches us.

"What are Miss Linda's class doing here?" I cut to the chase.

"Well we decided to have a basketball match against them"

Well god definitely is a fan of me today.

"Great" Lauren says in her innocent tone before discreetly stepping on my foot.

I wince and I could feel the skin on my nose scrunching up like paper being scrunched up into a worthless ball "Great" I manage to choke out. Miss Jenny smiles with satisfaction and practically skips of in the direction of Miss Linda. Who know a PE teacher could be so bubbly.

We take our seat next to Corey who's attention seems to wither by the second.

"Earth to Cor" I wave my hand and his eyes slowly start to find their way to us.

"Yea" He looks dazed.

"What are ya staring at?"

"Oh, Mr hotty" I follow his gaze over to the football crowd and- No.....

Surly he doesn't mean Mr arrogant who was sitting over on the other bench. A crowd had formed a horse shoe shape around him and all looked at him engagingly like he was about to tell something interesting and he sat there lacking up all the attention. Prick.

A whistle pierces through the shouting of wild teens and just like that...silence.

"So this is how it is going to go" Miss Linda who is way more fierce and scary as Miss Jenny orders.

"We will split you up into teams randomly" That earned a low groan from everyone, I'm sure they all wanted to pick their teams.

"We will play six games for five minutes each" Miss Linda continues, clearly immune to the grunts and moans coming from the benches.

"Any questions?" Miss Jenny calls out stopping everyone before the noice level rises again. No one puts their hand up notifying the teachers to carry on.

Once we were put into the teams we were asked to huddle with our group and explain tactics.

I was on a team with a few football players who you could count Mr Hollywood as a football player, he's in their class so he might as well be. But what would an American know about English football?
