"Welcome to the US military!" Leo yelled as he strode into the room full of young soldiers, fresh out of training. "I am sergeant Hanes!" Everyone stopped what they were doing and stood up, they saluted and stood at attention. Leo slowly walked past each one, checking their attire and stance. One short boy with bright red hair had more patches than the other soldiers which peaked Leo's curiosity. "What is your rank private!" The boy stood straighter and looked Leo in the eyes. "It's staff sergeant sir!" He stated. Leo's face went pale. "My apologies sergeant. Why are you in my platoon if your of such high rank?" He asked respectfully, relaxing a bit. The boy relaxed as well. "I finished at the top of my class and commander Evans is soon to retire and took me in as his personal trainee so I could take his place. I will be this platoons K-9 unit." The boy said, quite proud of himself. "What is your name sergeant?" Leo asked, genuinely curious about the boy. "Elliott Temro sir." He said, standing at attention. Leo nodded and Elliott continued down the line of soldiers, looking the group up and down. He had already made 4 soldiers cry which he was quite proud of himself for. His goal was to break each and every one of them, including this Elliott person.
When it was finally time to go to the base and get unpacked they all jogged there with all their supplies as a little warm-up. Elliott knew Hanes was gonna be more demanding the second he noticed they were the only ones jogging, the other soldiers riding in jeeps and truck beds. Elliott was first to finish, other than Hanes of course, there's one unspoken rule in the army and that's to always let your sergeants win to avoid un wanted attention. When Elliott and Leo walked into the large bunker-like building the walls were lined with bunks and dressers. It looked like a normal base, that is except the large crate pushed against one of the beds. The crate held Elliott's dog winter who was transported along with the other dogs by armored car. Their bomb dogs were worth 1 million each so they had to be protected from greedy people, or enemies. Without these dogs most of the soldiers would be dead on the first mission, so it was important that they were protected. Elliot bent done next to the door, "hey girl how was the trip? Huh?" Winter yipped and stuck her paws through the door. Elliott opened the crate and she came bounding out, immediately pouncing on Elliott and bounding about the room. "Sergeant get that mutt under control will you?!" Leo practically squealed as he hid behind Elliott. Elliott looked at him trying to keep the smile from his face. "Your afraid of dogs!?" He yelled and fell into a nearby bed, dying with laughter. Leo folded his arms and stood all sassy-liked, glaring at Elliott. "Ok ok I'll stop sorry sorry." Elliott got up and grabbed winter by the chain around her neck. His face was as red as a tomato and he was still trying to hold in laughter. Leo shook his head and walked away, flinching when winter pulled against her chain, trying to say hello. Elliott giggled, earning a glare from Leo as he strode away. Elliott took a quick look at his ass as he walked, he was interested in this man and wanted to know more....
