The day of the wedding was gorgeous. It was a nice sunny day, perfect for an outdoor wedding. Leo wasn't allowed to see Elliott vice versa. Leo was in one room with, Dane, trey, jace, and Elliott's father who we're all helping him get on his military uniform. Dane and trey were fighting about how his hair should be styled. Elliott's dad, mark, and Jace was making sure it had no wrinkles, while giving him a pep talk(with a bit of threatening) "Leo if you hurt my son I'll rip off your dick and shove it up your ass. But good luck out there son." Mark patted his back and walked out of the room, Jace following behind after nodding. "Huh." Leo said completely speechless. Dane and trey laughed and walked out.
Elliott was in another room with his papa, Amelia, and her daughter Kia. Elliott was getting along great with Kia. "Are you guys planning on adopting kids?" Elliott shrugged, "I would like to. But I think dogs are ok for now." Amelia nodded and fixed his bow tie. Elliott was wearing his uniform from the military. He and Leo would be matching but because they were in different majors they would have different patches so it was ok. Some of their friends from the military had agreed to stand by their side too. Summer and his new bomb dog hero, of course would be there as well and the two had agreed they wanted Kia to be the flower girl.
When the wedding finally started the music began to play, Leo was already standing in the front in his uniform, with three of his comrades. When Elliott came out he was holding his fathers arm. He too was in his military uniform and his new dog to 'replace' winter in war was next to him. He wanted the dog, Hero, next to him because he felt he too was his comrade and brother through war. When he made it to the front hero sat on the side next to a few of Elliott's sisters he had served with too and summer. Mark gave Elliott to Leo and whispered something in his ear, then sat down. The priest came forward and began reading the vows. When it was time Leo pulled a small pierce of paper from his pocket, "Elliott. I met you in the army August 16th, 2017. It is now May 3rd, 2019. We have been together for two years and they were the best two anyone could ever give me. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Even though winter unfortunately passed away, and I got severely injured and discharged from the only job I knew, you made it all ok by sticking with me through it all. I love you so so much and I hope one day we can grow our family together and see our legacy lived. I love you so much, thank you." Elliott and half the guests were in tears and it took a moment before Elliott too, pulled a small notecard from his jacket. "Leo. I don't know how to thank you for this amazing life you have given to me. You are the greatest thing I could've gotten from war and I love you for always sticking with me through thick and thin. When my best friend, winter died you were there. When I was deployed you were there. When it was my first mission and we hadn't known each other for long you still comforted me and kept me sane. You comforted me throughout all my deployment and yours too. Thank you so much for everything, this is the happiest day of my life." Leo had tears in his eyes and Elliott was in tears. "Leo Hanes, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband for as long as you live?" The priest asked. "I do." Leo said. "Elliott Temro, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband for as long as you live?" Elliott nodded and whispered "I do." As he was trying to keep it together. "You May kiss." Leo grabbed Elliott and lifted him up, the kissed passionately then Leo carried him out bridal style and into a limo. "I love you so so much." They both whispered....
