They spent all night filling out the papers and Elliott spent all of next day shopping.

"Do you think she likes pink, yellow, or blue?" Elliott asked staring at several types of curtains. Leo sighed, "does it matter she's four and blind." Elliott frowned at Leo, "fine. Yellow" Leo responded as he laced his arms around Elliott's waist. Elliott laid his head on Leo's shoulder and sighed. "I can't believe we're going to be dads." Elliott whispered. "Me neither." Leo mumbled against Elliott's hair.

The day finally came, they got to bring Kelli home. "Yayaya! I can't wait for our little girl to come home!" Elliott yelled through the house. Summer, king and hero sat completely dumb founded as to why their owners were bouncing off the walls. Elliott's fathers were seated on the couch with Dane and trey on the floor next to them. Amelia, Kia, and Jace were all seated on the opposite couch and they were all giddy with excitement. "So you said this girl is blind?" Mark asked. Leo nodded, "that'll be a challenge. Maybe you could teach one if these here puppies to lead her around." Leo shrugged, "that could be good." He replied. That's when the doorbell rang. Leo and Elliott sprang up and ran to the door. They flung it open to see a tall woman with a clipboard and their little girl standing by her side with a pole to help her get around. Elliott immediately knelt down next to her to say hello and she remembered him and leapt into his arms right away. "I would like to check your home to make sure everything is safe." The lady stated. Leo nodded and opened the door for her. She walked in, her heals knocking on the wooden floor. Leo showed her around, making sure to draw her attention to the several baby gates they had installed the day before, and how well-behaved the dogs were. "Everything looks absolutely wonderful. She's all yours!" She said cheerily then let herself out. Kelli was already sitting on marks lap and he was telling her stories about when Elliott was little. She giggled with joy and clapped her hands.

Leo and Elliott vowed to raise their child and support each other through everything. Kelli, despite her disability made it through school and got a job as a school teacher. Elliott retired from the army and lived out the rest of his life happily with Leo and although they fought and went through many struggles they still stayed together and loved each other.
