AN: I had written this part and it got erased because when I tried to save it I wasn't on wifi 😠🔪 then it wouldn't save the second time. and I finally got it to save the 3rd
Oli's POV:
Daniel: hey Oli, Char and I are gonna go home soon so you should come watch Gabe. he's pretty slammed but Alex is sobered up a little. but just to be safe?
Oli: yeah I'll head over now. why are you leaving early?
Daniel: we're both pretty uh tired and uh that doesn't matter so just go protect your princess idiot.
I took my brothers car after getting the call from Daniel and drove quickly to Gabe's house.
"I told her not to trust him damn it" I mumbled to myself as I sped up the car
when I got to Gabe's house I quickly walked up to the door. it was unlocked so I decided to let myself in. as I opened the door I heard a faint scream.
it was Alex.
I picked up my pace running up the stairs and practically sprinting once I reached the top going towards his room. when I met the doorway I felt all sounds fade away and a ringing in my ear as I saw Gabe on top of Alex holding her arms down as she frantically kicked her legs about. her shirt was off exposing her bra but her jeans were still barely on mid- thigh.
my eyes set on Gabe who had no idea I was there. I ran to him pushing him off of her and onto the floor. I grabbed his shirt with my left hand and punched him with my right hand, then I did it again, and again, and again. the ringing grew louder as I saw him mouthing words but no sound. I hit again harder with each punch then I started to kick him. suddenly my senses came back as I heard screaming and sobbing from Alex and pleads to stop from Gabe. I looked over at Alex who was curled up covering her eyes with her hands and mumbling my name whilst trying to breathe. then I looked at Gabe, I kicked him one last time in the ribs and went over to her.
I reached my hand out to her "it's okay it's over now" she peeked up at me then at him she threw herself at me and hugged me.
"I couldn't, I didn't know wh- I shouldn't have, the whiskey. it was the whiskey." she sobbed into my shoulder she gasped as Gabe tried to get off the ground "Alex take the car keys and go to the car lock the doors until I get down there okay?"
Alex's POV:
Oliver handed me the keys and I hesitated to take them but he insisted. I wiped my eyes and reached for my phone, I shouldn't find my shirt and that was honestly the last of my worries. I ran down the stairs and into the car. I turned on the radio and heater.
"it's my fault. it's my fault." I repeated to myself. I broke down sobbing into my hands. "not again." I whispered. the flashbacks came back from when I was younger and my step father would rape me my breathing became heavy and I gasped for air. "okay calm down" I whispered to myself once again "calm down, your okay" Oliver tapped on the window making me jump from my seat I unlocked the doors and he got in the drivers seat and sped off.
"your house or mine?" he asked
"no ones at my house. so mine" I said looking straight ahead
I could see out of the corner of my eye him do a double take of me. "your not weari- I cut him off "I couldn't find it" he slowed down the car and pulled over. I looked at him with a confused expression "your shivering" he said as he took off his shirt exposing more tattoos than were already noticeable, he handed me his shirt I slipped it on giggling at how big it was on my 5'3 frame compared to him being 6'. he looked at me and wiped my eyes "you still look pretty damn beautiful kid." he laughed
I lightly smiled and told him the way to my house. it was like Oliver made all bad thoughts and memories go away and made me live in the moment rather than the past.
I am really starting to fall for this guy
