when we got there it was packed. the crowd was shoulder to shoulder, deathly claustrophobic.
then I thought back to the list my doctor had given me;
no Amusement park rides, Bicycling, Contact sports, Downhill skiing, Gymnastics, Horseback riding, saunas, Running or jumping, especially no moshing or big cramped crowds.
I couldn't really be in the crowd so it was good we had back stage access. I wandered back stage with Quinn close behind.
"I hope I see Alan i hope I see Alan I hope I see Alan" she repeated as we walked I turned around to shush her but she stopped breathing I swear.
I looked at her "Quinn?"
"Alan" is all she said.
I turned around and this time I was the one who stopped breathing.
"play it cool play it cool" I said in my head as the band approached us.
"hey Alex!" Austin hugged me. I've been a huge of mice & men fan for years I used to go to shows regularly but I haven't been to one since the move. I knew the band pretty well but Austin was hot as fuck and had the personality to match it, when I was younger we sort of had a 'thing' I guess but that's passed.
I hugged him back and walked to the guys bus with Quinn dyeing beside me
"oh hey Alan this is Quinn I think you guys would get along pretty well" I smirked calling Alan over for Quinn.
we all went in the bus, having 30 minutes until they played.
"wait Ali why aren't you in the crowd?" Tino asked sitting on the couch across from me in the front lounge.
"hah funny story" I laughed looking for Quinn who was outside the bus talking with Alan.
"where's Oli?" Austin asked changing his shirt
"tour" I sighed pouting. then I realized that I was missing him, and I had completely forgotten about the entire situation and I didn't really care anymore. but this was my happy place and nothing could ruin this and if they did I would most likely kill them.
"alexxxxx?" Tino waved his hand in front of my face breaking my train of thought.
"huh?" I replied
"so what's the funny reason your not in the crowd like you usually are?" he questioned one again
"oh yeah well I'm sort of not aloud to jump, mosh, run or do much actually" I hinted at what I was about to say
he looked at me confused still
"I'm pregnant" I said casually. but by now it was casual.
all speaking stopped Austin whipped around to look at me and Tino smiled, Phil was out with Quinn and Alan but Aaron broke the silence.
"congrats kid" he got up to hug me. I hugged back receiving another hug from Phil and Austin.
"let's not make a big deal of this guys really"
"it's a big deal there's a little human in you" Alan interjected walking in with Quinn and Phil
"shouldn't you guys go perform of something" I joked
"we've got 15 minutes, I wanna go meet some fans" Austin said excited walking out the bus with the rest of the guys
"you can stay here as long as you need" Aaron said walking out of the bus closing the door
"I love you!" Quinn jumped on me hugging me
"Jordan" I joked reminding her she couldn't have Alan
"i know I know" she blushed smiling and trying to hide it.
"I'm gonna go to the crowd" Quinn said getting up and walking out of the bus
Austin walked in the bus grabbing his phone and handing it to me
"I lost your number a while back" I typed in my number and name handing him back his phone.
"we missed you Alex" he said hugging me. I couldn't help but smile. following him out to the stage and watching them play.
