Chapter 2 - Meet The Red Fang Pack

The history of the Red Fang Pack is unknown to most. The only ones who know about it are the luna, Sapphira, and the alpha, Komatz. But although she knew the history of her pack, she had no memory of her own past, but she wouldn't let it stop her from leading her pack to the best of her abilities. She was in charge and that's how she liked it.

They lived on the left side of the territory and they loved it. Food was almost always abundant, the trees were filled with brightly colored leaves and there were flowers everywhere! It was as if there were little splashes of colors on the ground and wherever they went. And Sapphira's favorite part, a huge rock, where she can overlook her territory and the other one's too.

Although she was only 16, Sapphira felt as though she already knew everything she needed to know as an alpha. But she knew, of course, that she still had much to learn. Of she ever needed help, she would always look to her father, who was the leader before her. When she had become leader, she was only 14 at the time. But she proved herself an amazing leader. She earned the respect of all her packmates, mostly because she was fierce towards the rouges. In fact, when she first became leader, a requirement was to kill a rouge or an outsider, which she did with ease and no mercy. She knew that night that she had their respect, and she had no intentions of losing it.

Now to start the story!

Sapphira was coming back from hunting, when she heard a familiar sound... Komatz was fighting with his brother, Kapu. she sighed, annoyed. She walked up to the brothers, who weren't paying attention to her, and growled loudly (she has a very deep growl). They froze and stared at her, immediately stopping what they were doing. Komatz came up to her slowly. "Forgive us, Sapphira... we were just arguing..." he said, looking away instinctively. "Well you two need to stop fighting like pups, and go hunting," she said sternly. "Yes, Sapphira," they said together then went hunting.

Sapphira was going back with food, when someone suddenly came out in front of her. She snarled quietly, in disgust as she saw who it was. Nadia. Sapphira made her omega, but was constantly challenged for her leadership by this ill-tempered female. She kept her head high. "Oh hey, Sapphira... didn't see you there," she said slyly. "You know I'm pregnant with Komatz's baby?" Sapphira rolled her eyes. "How could I forget? You tell me everyday," Sapphira said. "Well I just thought you'd like to know! Because he loves me, not you... at least I'm giving him the baby he wanted... and when it's born, he will be mine," she said smugly. "Why would he want to be mates with a slut, Nadia? Are you sure that's even his?" Sapphira said sarcastically. "How dare you?!" Nadia jumped at Sapphira, but Sapphira was quick and threw Nadia to the ground. "Remember that you're an omega, Nadia... unless you want to be banned to the rouges," she said. "No..." Nadia said quietly, then walked away. Sapphira felt a sense of pride and held her head high, once again as she walked past her other packmates, smiling. Nobody was going to take the leadership from her. Not if she could help it.
