Chapter 17 - New Husband?

"Wait what?" Sparrow asks, confused. "You're pregnant," Sapphira repeats. Sparrow instantly growls, jumping up. "I'm going to kill him," Sparrow growls. "Sit down, Sparrow. You need to rest," Sapphira says, forcing Sparrow to lay back down. Sparrow cries into her shaking hands. She didn't want his children... not anymore that is... she used to love him, until he hurt her. In all reality, she still slightly cared for him, but she also loved Saphire. "I have to go. Keep her safe, sister," Saphire says, running out of Sapphira's house. Sapphira sighs. "She's so stubborn..." she mumbles under her breath as she comforts Sparrow.

Saphire ran into Aspen and Jasmine on the way out and sighed. "Can you rake care of the kids a little while longer?" Saphire asks. "Of course! We love little Jax and Bexley," Jasmine says. "Good. I'm sure they love you too," Saphire says as she kisses her kids heads, tears falling as she does.

Saphire runs off, jumping in the river, swimming across. She jumps out of the river and runs to the rogue's territory. "Jackson, leader of the rogues, show yourself!" Saphire growls, anger pulsing through her. Jackson appears, laughing as he smirks, looking down at her. "I see you know I hurt Sparrow," he says. "And your sister," he mumbles under his breath. "You did what to my sister?!" Saphire screams. "Oh hush... do you want to save her?" Jackson asks. "Yes," Saphire says, sighing. She would do anything to save her sister. "What will you do to save her?" Jackson asks. "Anything," Saphire growls. "Except let you hurt me or anyone else I care about.... and you can't take my title away... or Sparrow's," Saphire says. "Perfect. I will join your pack as an Alpha... we will marry, but you are free to love Sparrow," Jackson says softly. He was falling for Saphire. "You can live your life as usual. I won't bother you, unless you-" Jackson starts, but Saphire cuts him off. "Deal," she says. "Let's go," she adds. And with that, they go back to Sapphira's territory and walk to Aspen, collecting her kids. They then went to Sparrow, who had fallen asleep. "This is Jackson. He is going to help you," Saphire says as Sapphira growls. Another sharp pain happened in her stomach, but she says nothing as she falls to the ground, whimpering.
