Saphire was watching her kids while Jackson was running the pack. Jackson had been trying to weaken Saphire, but it wasn't working the way he wanted. Saphire had been planning on fighting Jackson that night. She was weaker than usual, but she was still stronger than him.

Saphire sets her children down and walks outside. "Jackson, I challenge you to fight... to the death," Saphire growls. "No. We fight, yes, but not to the death," Jackson says. Saphire laughs. "Coward," she growls, lunging at him, shifting midair and biting his shoulder hard. Jackson yelps, shifting. He scratches her stomach, causing her to growl. Saphire moves and bites his neck hard. She scratches his body until he submits. She smirks as she stands, shifting. She was covered in blood but she didn't care. She goes to the tall rock and shouts, "ALL ROGUES OFF MY TERRITORY OR I WILL KILL YOU!" Saphire growls loudly. All the rogues whimper and run off, Jackson following them. Saphire jumps down from the rock and goes inside to shower. Once she finishes, she goes to lay down, crying as she finally realized she only had her children left.

Meanwhile, Sparrow was still alive, but she was on the verge of death. She had multiple wounds. Her neck was cut, but not deep enough to kill her. She was lost because of the visions she was having because of the blood loss. Sparrow had gotten wounded because of Jackson. He had beaten her for weeks then left. She was pregnant with his pups and didn't know how she would tell Saphire, let alone find her.

Sparrow finally found the river and fell in, floating to Sapphira's territory by accident. She climbs out, shivering. She howls for help and is soon surrounded by wolves. "Sparrow," Aspen says, going to her, helping her up. She was losing blood and lots of it. "You need to find Saphire," Sparrow says before passing out, her hand dropping, revealing the cut that was now gushing blood.
