Months later
Julie's POV
It's been 9 months since I've moved to
Australia and I love it. Ashton is an
amazing person and he's told me
everything about Australia within a few
days. I enjoy waking up in the morning
knowing that nothing is going to bother
me or that no ones going to hurt me.
This is what I've wanted for months
after Niall came back. A new start. I sat
up in bed and saw how amazing the
sun was. I smiled knowing that that is
going to be a good day. I hopped out of
bed and went to the bathroom to
shower and get ready for the day.
Before I went to the shower I noticed
that Ashton was in the kitchen making
breakfast. "Morning!" "Same to you
too." I smile. "How did you get in?" I
ask leaning on the counter. "You gave
me a spare remember?" He smiled with
his dimples showing through. "What do
you have planned today he says turning
off the fire and grabbing 2 plates.
"Nothing actually. I have off from
work." "Great! How about we go
expiring the city today." I've always
wanted to go see what Australia was
like and now I have an Aussie to show
me around. "I'd love to." I reply as he
sets a plate if blueberry pancakes in
front of me. "And thank you for
breakfast." "No problem." He says and
sits down and eats with me. After
breakfast, I take a shower and get
dressed. I decide check the weather but
find it useless knowing it's going to be
hot. So, I put on shorts, sneakers, and a
t-shirt. "Ready?" Ashton calls from the
living room. "Yep!" I say grabbing my
bag and heading to the living room.
"Alright let's go!" He says excitedly. We
leave the house and we get in his car
and rice off to see the city. So far we've
been to almost every store because
Ashton insisted and we went
sightseeing. After all the shopping and
getting tanned from being out all day
we drive over to a restaurant for lunch
"Maddie, who's Niall?" He asks. I
swallow hard as he looks at me. "He's
an old friend. Why?" "He called and left
a voicemail this mor-"
Ashton's POV
After breakfast Maddie went to shower
and her phone rang. The name Niall
came up and I decided not to answer. I
didn't want to start any trouble. I sat on
the couch watching some shows when I
asked if she was ready. She then came
out and off we go to explore. I insisted
that we went shopping and went
sightseeing. After being her neighbor
for 9 months it's impossible that she
hasn't seen interesting things here.
After seeing everything there was to
show her, went to a restaurant for
lunch. This Niall guy bothered me so I
had to ask her about him. "Maddie
who's Niall?" She seemed to stiffen
after asking that question. "He's an old
friend. Why?" she asked playing with
the hem of her shirt. "He called and
left a voicemail this mor-" And before I
could finish we were hit by a car.
Everything going so fast that the only
thing I remember after being hit was
me calling Maddie's name over and
over but having no reply. Blood was
everywhere and some coming out of my
nose. "MADDIE WAKE UP!!
MADISON! MADISON PLEASE WAKE
UP!!" I yelled and violently shook her.
People called the police as I wiped the
gushing blood from my nose and tried
to wake her.
I think I lost her. I just killed someone.
