A world of make believe, hopes, and dreams
Where magic is real and nothing is what it seems
You'd sacrifice everything to be part of this place
Even if it means there are dreams you must eraseBecause everyone loves you and wants to be friends
But as soon as you leave, their sincerity ends
One moment, you feel like a part of the group
The next, you find yourself out of the loopIt takes much greater effort to find a real friend
Who will be there for you when it's not just pretend
It's lovely to have someone who'll listen and smile
But they'll only be nice to you for a short whileTo live in a world of dreams is ideal
But it comes crashing down once you learn it's not real
You must get hurt and let down before you can find
Someone who is truly genuine
