Dreaming of a better place
Imaginations run wild with delight
Architecture of stone towers and balconies
That will stand strong for many a day and nightBut it's more than just the structure
Beautiful and solid as it may be
It represents our hopes and dreams
Of rising up to infinityEveryone wishes for a better life
Success and power or glory and fame
Each person who stands in its glittering light
Hears these things calling their nameYet inside it's hollow
Empty, frightening and huge
Far too dark and lonely
To be used as a refugePeople always long for what they cannot have
Wishing for a place too luxurious to own
Thinking they know what they want
When all they need is what they already call homeStill, it serves as a reminder
To each person who walks by
That if they dream bigger and work harder
They may have a chance to flyIt isn't the building that truly matters
It's the secrets that it shrouds
Inspiring all who gaze upon it
To one day reach thatcastle in the clouds
