It's a steep climb
Up each mountain we face
But we should never flat line
Or it'll be a disgraceThere will be times when we will fall
When the path gets too vertical on foot
But we can't be hindered by this wall
Or we'll lose the chance we tookJust keep pushing yourself higher
Never rest when you hit a plateau
Driven by strong dreams and desire
Always fighting to reach where you wish to goIf you stop when the path goes flat
You may be happy for a short time
But you'll soon tire and want to go back
To working your way up the inclineYou can't stop when the timing seems best
Unless it's only for a short rest
For you've already lost your chance at success
When you decided you can no longer progress
