"I have a party at my house later today in the evening and I'm inviting you to please come, don't even dare to say no or else I will have to go to your grandmother's place and ask for permission on your behalf."he said with assurance.
"Do you remember the last time I had a party and you refused to attend then you promised me that you won't miss the next?"he proceeded.
I was surprised that he could even remember that and it has been five months since then.
I remember the last time he had a pool party, he invited me but I made an excuse that I had to accompany Jayne to an event she had been invited.
To be honest I actually did not want to reveal to him the fact that I hated swimming because I did not know how to swim.
"Okay then I will come."I said in reassurance,suddenly I saw a smirk on his face.
"Thank you very much and please make sure you bring Jay along with you,see you later."he said waving at me as he left.
Talking of Jay I haven't heard from him since yesterday.
"Hey...I was startled from my thoughts...I had almost forgotten, Emma sent her greetings and that she can't wait to see you at the party. I am sure she will be more excited to know that you finally accepted to attend the party."Lucas said smiling at me.
"Goodbye,"he left.

I knew it!
I know she is the one who had asked his brother to come and invite me to the party because she knew it was hard to say No to him, also considering the way I reacted when it came to his brother.
The way he loved her sister he would do anything to make her happy.
"I see you now have plans." Edwin said sarcastically.
"Plans!" I repeated.
No I'm only going there because it's my principle to always keep my promises and also because I know Emma will be there to hangout with at the party.
"Anyway you had a question before we were interrupted,....
What was that you wanted to ask?" I asked curiously.
"Never mind it's nothing important, he replied in a low voice.
"Are you sure?I asked.
"Yeah!he replied.
"Okay then!I said.
Many hours went by while still conversing with Edwin, we didn't even realize that it was getting late.
"I should get going, I don't want to be the reason you are late for the party."he said with a grin.
