At school.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to the table tennis room only to find the room empty. I searched for my bat everywhere but I couldn't find it. God! What am I going to do!
*Checking the time.
Ooh my! I am already late, we were to meet at the square before the tournament begins. I quickly ran to the square. Everyone was busy warming-up.
"Look who is late." Amber said.
Distracting everyone and all eyes were now on me.
"The good thing is that am now here." I responded.
"Hey! Did you find it?" Jay asked.
I was really panting so hard from the running that words could not come out from my mouth.
"Let me catch my breathe first."
Moments later....
"No!"
"I don't know what am going to do."
Before Jay could even answer we saw James coming towards us carrying a bat.
"That bat looks familiar.
As he approached closer.
Is that your..... " Jay asked pointing at it.
"Hey! I think this belongs to you." he said handing it over to me.
"You left it at my car I think you must have dropped it by mistake when leaving."
"Yeah! Sure! Thanks." I took it from his hands feeling embarrassed. With Jay looking at me with surprised and questioning eyes.
"Don't you dare say a word." I said to Jay with a serious face.
"Hey! Everyone let's gather up." James said.
" I want to thank you all for availing yourself. Without wasting time lets go and show them why we are called the SKF college." he said clapping.
