At the tournament.
Our school; SKF college we were competing against Green field college.
Before the match starts, both teams were given the right to choose which team will be Team A and which one will be Team B. This was done by tossing a coin and luckily we were Team A.
The captains from both teams assigned a letter to each player.
All the players from both schools were drawn in pairs for the simple knock-out. The winners continue to play in successive rounds until only one player remains unbeaten. Losers are knocked-out. In the simple knock-out; best of 5 matches, the match stopped when our team had won 3 matches.
All the players from both schools are drawn into groups for the group/Round-robin. Each player plays every other player in their group the results of the matches determine the final ranking order for the group.
4 Singles and 1 Doubles.
- Teams consisting of 4 players.
Best of 5 matches (4 singles and 1 doubles) We won.
6 Singles and 1 Doubles.
- Teams consist of 5 players.
Best of 7 matches (6 singles and 1 doubles) We won.
Finally the tournament came to an end and we emerged as the winner.
SKF Won! Won!
We were so happy for winning because the school had promised as a 3 days trip if we win.
