Poetry (My Escape from Reality)

Light in the Dark

She fears to go outside
Her mind is too uptight
Don't want to meet people
And just wan't to stay at her temple.

Insecurities are drowning her
Burning her down like a fire.
Negative thoughts are invading her peace
Buzzing in her mind like bees.

She stays up late
Slowly losing faith
She despise herself
Self blaiming 'til twelve.

She wants to be surrounded by love
and fly freely like a dove
Borrow her anxieties to the ground
And her worth to be found.

Now she's in the dark room
I assume she'll cry soon
When can she love herself?
Can you grant her wishes Mr. elf?

Staring at the empty room
While lying at her soft foam
Counting the days since she lost her sanity,
Mumbling different profanity.

It's strange that darkness is only her friend
Different from others who always follow the trend.
In darkness she can't see her face
But she is beautiful in her own ways.
