I hope I'm updating frequently enough for you guys! I don't exactly have a specific day that I update. I just write the next chapter as soon as possible.
In a while though, I won't be able to update as often because I'll be having examinations. Sorry about that! But once I'm done, I'll update more again. :)
Hope you enjoy this one!
ALEXIS
Today is the first day of school that Jeremy and I are spending as an almost couple.
He's been incredibly sweet since last night's kiss. He texted me when he got home, saying how happy he was and that he couldn't wait to see me at school. I'm glad to know that he feels the same way I do. He's spending more time with me, like ditching his friends in Math class so he can sit next to me. I feel bad for his friends and I tell him repeatedly that he doesn't have to be with me, but he insists. I don't want him to be the guy who loses his friends for a girl. But then again, I don't think Jocks ever split up, and he is joining them for Lunch anyway.
Speaking of Lunch, Kayleigh and I finally manage to catch up. We had a graded test during English before this, so we couldn't tell each other what we were dying to say.
"Oh, Alex! We were just dancing and talking, and it was perfect," she gushes. "He looked pretty upset when I told him I had to leave, and he offered to drive me home. Obviously, I said yes. I mean, how could I not? And he told me he wanted to see me again. Surely he can't be gay?"
I laugh. "Kay, I think this is where my story comes in."
She motions for me to continue.
"So, at the party, I was with Jeremy at first, but they were all getting drunk and I didn't want anything to happen, so I left him. I couldn't go home yet so I stayed around, and I met the Outlaws at the back of the house. They were actually talking to me, and you and Dan came up in the conversation. And guess what?" I ask, unable to contain my excitement.
"What?!" Kayleigh screeches, bouncing in her seat at our usual lunch table.
"Dan's not exactly gay," I inform her. "I mean, I quote, 'Actually, he swings both ways, but he doesn't like to label himself.'"
"Are you serious?! So I do have a chance, huh?" she wonders in amazement.
"Yes! You practically have like, a hundred percent chance! Aw, Kay, I'm so happy for you!"
I swear to God, this girl is going to pass out unless she stops doing her crazy happy dance over and over again.

"Sup, Florida!"
I frown, confused. I don't want to embarrass myself and turn around in case 'Florida' isn't me. I know I'm from Florida, but maybe someone's name is actually Florida. Okay, this is dumb. Maybe I'm just being the paranoid me. Anyway, I keep walking through the hallway towards my locker.
"Hey, Sexy Lexi! Come on, babe, you know you want to look at me."
I roll my eyes, laughing to myself. Okay, that's definitely Christian.
I whirl around and see him and Isaiah walking towards me together.
"Hey," I smile. "What's up?"
People gawk at me, trying to figure out why I was talking them, why they were talking to me, and more importantly, why they had those nicknames for me. I guess I can't totally blame them for not minding their own business. I mean, I am sort of a loser, aren't I?
