Picture: Random Girl as Rachel Avery

Of course, Rachel's hair isn't that colour, but I imagine her to look somewhat like that.

I lost a little bit of motivation to continue writing about a week ago, but thanks to some new readers, I'm more excited to finish this story. So I want to just say thank you to you guys, especially my newest followers and readers, Colorsity and IxD_98 , and my first follower and known reader, Dynamiceggshell . I really appreciate all the support! <3

CHRISTIAN

"What the hell, man. Don't tell me what to do," I whisper yell, so that only Daniel can hear me. "I'm not talking to her now."

I slam my tray on the Lunch table, taking the seat opposite Daniel, where Alexis should be.

"Well, don't get your panties in a bunch," my best friend mutters, rolling his eyes. "I'm just saying! It would be good for the two of you to kiss and make up already."

Really? He's asking me to kiss her? I mean-don't get me wrong-he doesn't even have to ask, but why mention it when he knows I like her, but she's dating someone else?

I shoot him a deadpan expression. "Hilarious."

"Look," he starts to tell me. "I love the girl. But when I see her sometimes, I honestly don't know what you want me to do. Hug her, or do whatever it is I have to do because she hurt you, even though she's hurt too."

I lean forward across the table instantly, resting my elbows on the top. "She didn't hurt me. I mean, it is partly my fault too. So don't you dare do whatever it is you have to do to her." Then more quietly, I add, "Even Rachel isn't doing anything."

He raises his hands. "Like I said. I didn't know what you wanted me to do. But, good; I don't want to do anything."

I let out a loud and exasperated sigh. "Whatever. All of this is going to be over today. It has to be. I'm talking to her after school and it ends there."

ALEXIS

"So... After school? Isn't that kind of late? What if you don't catch him in time?"

"Then there's always tomorrow, right?" I grin anxiously at my best friend.

She sighs. "Lex, you should go talk to him now. We have Physics after this, and it would be great if you two can kiss and make up before that, so I don't have to deal with another hour of your fight tension and sexual tension."

I cock an eyebrow. "Sexual tension?"

"Yes! Tons of it. Tons!" she exclaims, frustrated.

"There's no sexual tension, Kay. And he's been avoiding me all this time. He'll ignore us during Physics, as usual. No big deal." I shrug. "Besides, if you think Physics is bad, you should join us in Bio. Sitting right beside him feels like a grenade's about to go off. Thank God McMann hasn't asked us to do any partner work these past few weeks. It's a miracle."

Although the project we did the last time is over, Miss McMann decided it would be a lot easier to stick with the seating arrangement, in case of future partner work.

So, I was stuck with Christian throughout this fight. We tried swapping partners once so we wouldn't have to feel the awkwardness, but Miss McMann noticed and told us to switch back.

Kayleigh shakes her head, laughing. "Oh, there's sexual tension, all right. Trust me."

"Whatever," I say, rolling my eyes. "I'm talking to him after school, and that's final."
