ALEXIS
I got Jeremy to give me a lift to school today.
He, Christian and Kayleigh have all offered to drive me to school everyday, but I rejected. I hardly exercise, ever. So at least walking every morning will make me feel less guilty.
However, today, I have to talk to Jeremy.

"So, you know about that whole argument Chris and I had, right?" I ask, as he starts the engine.
Jeremy frowns at the nickname but nods, facing forward with a hard gaze and his hands on the steering wheel as he slowly drives out.
"Well, I just wanted to tell you that we're okay now-better than okay-and I feel like we're much closer."
Christian took me to his parents and his secret place. He trusts me. I was certain he trusts me before, but now, I know how much. And I love it.
Jeremy remains silent.
"I need to know-do you have a problem with this?" I ask him carefully, studying his expression.
He slowly turns to look at me. "Do you think I do?"
He stares at me for a long time, and I'm taken aback by how he's reacting. His eyes bore into mine, and his body shows he's angry, but his face is void of emotion.
I quickly glance away from him, unable to hold his gaze any longer, much to my dismay.
That's when I realise that he's been staring at me for too long, and I notice that people are honking because he just ran a red light at a junction and is heading towards a bus that is turning from the opposite direction.
"Jer!" I scream.
He looks back at the road and sharply intakes a breath, slamming on the breaks just in time. We're both trying to catch our breaths, and I'm shaking from the near death experience.
"I... I'm so sorry," he gasps. "I didn't mean to do that. I don't know what happened. I'm sorry."
I just nod, completely in shock and speechless, and we continue the drive in silence.
When we arrive at school, he parks the car and we sit quietly for a few seconds.
"Yes," I answer his question from earlier, opening the car door. "Yes, I think you do."
I don't bother waiting for a reply, because he doesn't have anything to say anyway. I force a smile, and just get out and walk away.
I know you do.

"Good to have you back, Florida," Isaiah grins, setting his tray of food on the table. "You too, Kay."
Since Christian and I fought and everything, Kayleigh and I haven't joined the Outlaws for Lunch. But finally, we made up and we're at their table again.
I miss being here, where they made stupid jokes, flung food at each other, and just had fun. I don't have any bad memories at this table.
I laugh. "Good to be back."
I catch Christian, who's sitting opposite me, staring at me with a faint smile tugging at his lips, and I blush, my eyes widening.
"What?" I ask. "Why are you staring?"
