(Jane's POV)
I'm Jane Hopper. I live with my father, Jim Hopper, his girlfriend Joyce Byers and her two kids Johnathan and Will. We are all very close, Joyce is a mother to me and her sons are like my brothers. This is such a breath of fresh air considering I've been locked up and kept a secret my entire life. I finally started going to school, I was scared at first because I've never been around so many other kids before, but things are going great. I get along with pretty much everyone, even teachers. I have 4 best friends who I adore, my brother Will, my boyfriend Mike and Dustin and Lucas. Dustin and Lucas have a friend named Max, Mike told me not to talk to her though. I thought she seemed nice, and Lucas made her sound awesome, but Mike hated her. I decided since Mike doesn't like her, I'd just try to avoid her. I can't help but wonder what it would be like if we were friends though. I think about her a lot, more than I'd like to admit. Maybe one day her and Mike will get over their feud and move on, then she could join the party.
