Chapter Six: Gotta Get Back To School
George's Point Of View
"Georgie." Someone whispered above me, lightly patting my cheek, "Georgie wake up." They said again and I stirred slightly, "George wake up." They said and was patting my cheek with more force, "GEORGE!"
"What?!" I sprang up to be met with the smiling face of Lottie,
"Time to get up." She said, grinning and snatching one of the pillows from her bed, "FREDRICKA! GET UP!" She yelled and threw her pillow at him, her shot landing right in his face and Fred shot up exactly as I had. He pulled a face at her and she smiled before grabbing her pillow back. I slowly rolled off the bed and almost ran into Lottie who was folding her pyjamas into her trunk. I went to tap her shoulder and ask if she wanted help when Fred started coughing. I turned around to glare at him and he began laughing and I pulled a face and spun around right as Lottie did,
"Oh sorry love." I said without realising it. Lottie's cheeks turned bright red and she slowly looked down to the floor,
"S'okay ... love." She laughed lightly, bumping my shoulder as she grabbed her cardigan and hurried from the room. I sighed and fell backwards back onto my bed as I slapped my forehead,
"So funny." Fred said as he got up and hit my hand, "Classical."
"You're an arsehole." I threw at him and he pulled a face,
"And you're in looooovveee!" Fred said and made a heart with his index fingers and his thumbs. I took the Lottie approach by throwing the nearest pillow at his facw which he dodged by an inch. I sighed in frustration and Fred laughed again,
"WHY?!"
"Because obviously someone up there hates you and is trying you punish you for that reason." Fred joked with a huge grin on his face. I shook my head and got up, turning away from him trying to pick out clothes to pass off as a muggle, "Dude! We're going back to Hogwarts today! Product testing! Why you be so gloomy?"
"Oh I don't know Fred." I said sarcastically and slammed the wardbrobe door, "Maybe I fancie my best friend!"
"Well yeah, that's a bit of an issue." Fred said thoughtfully and nodded at me, "Maybe you fancie her because she was made for you." He shrugged and I sighed again, "Do the maths man. Lottie is practically your dream girl. I knew it from the start."
"How? How could you tell Fred?"
"First of all, look at her. She might not be stick thin or model worthy, but she's not bad! I'm not trying to say I like her too or anything but her eyes are pretty amazing, and you've got to agree! But you love her hair the most, I know you do." Fred nodded and I stared at him blankly. How the hell did he know that?
"So? Sandy muddyish blonde brown type of colour is pretty."
"And it's the perfect length. Half way between the shoulder blade and the waist line." Fred raised his eyebrows and I still just stared at him. I do not wanna know how he knows all this, "And it's how you act too. The way you looked at her that first time in the Leaky Caludron. It was the sign your mind was slowly wondering about her more each second. And I see you give her the last of your ice cream when I'd left."
"That's hardly fair! I was just trying to be nice!"
"Yeah, maybe. Maybe not to. And what about the time when Lottie went out on the train? You almost died! Oh and maybe we could chat about all the piggy backs and the goofing around and the heart to hearts and every other nice thing you've ever done for her! Would you like me to bring up the boggart?!"
