Pit. Pat. Pit. Pat. Pit. Pat.
Get up, come on get down with the sickness/Get up, come on get down with the sickness/Get up, come on get down with the sickness/Open up your hate, and let it flow into me/Get up, come on get down with the sickness/You mother get up come on get down with the sickness/You fucker get up come on get down with the sickness/Madness is the gift, that has been given to me. I pull out earbuds as I near my apartment door. I search my pocket for the key and find myself hoping that Michil didn't make it home before me. In the back my mind I can picture the apartment. The entryway right when you walk in that branches off in 3 directions. Hanging on the wall to my left is a giant mirror. Against the wall to my right is end table with a small red bowl on top of it. In that red bowl is all the keys me and Michil have collected over the past few months.
Through the exit to the left is the kitchen. It's small, but it's there. It's a literal square. When you walk in to you right is a hallway leading to the living room. It's a small hallway, but it works for our needs. To your left is a large sink and a window. Through the window you can see the park that's nearby. The sink is flowed with dishes since we're too lazy or too busy to do them. On the wall directly in front of you is a microwave, a stove, and a mini fridge. The fridge is filled to the brim with food and is sitting on top of a mini freezer. On the wall directly next to you that the door is built into has a bunch of cabinets. The walls in this room are an ugly and dull shade of egg shell white. As is the whole apartment though.
Back in the entryway, through the exit to my right is a small coat closet that's just full of coats and shit. If you take the exit directly in front of you, it leads to the living room.
The living room is a medium size of about 12 x 18. There's a large window showing a lookout over the city against the wall directly across from you when you walk in. Against the wall that would now be behind you and to the left of the door is a book shelf full of books from random time eras. Directly to the door's right is a TV set. Near the window is a black recliner made of leather. The only way that I know that Michil is home is by that recliner facing the window instead of the TV set like we had set it up to be. To left near the bookshelf is another hallway that branches off in two directions leading to two different rooms. The room to the right is my room and to the left is Michil. I have no idea what it looks like cause he never lets me in there.
If you walk into my room against the same wall the door is on is small oak wooden dresser. It's not entirely full, but it's got some clothes. Against the wall to your left is a king sized bed with black sheets and 3 red throw pillows. Behind the bed is a large window that looks out over the ally beside the apartments. On the wall directly across from you when you walk in is a walk in closet. The closet is almost completely empty. Right next to it is a door that leads to the only bathroom in this entire place and it's terribly messy. I don't even wanna think about it. The wall to my right is completely blank. I let out a small sigh before opening the door and throwing my keys in the red bowl. I trot down the entryway and notice the chair is in its original position, but it's oddly dark in the room. I walk into the room cautiously with my pistol raised. This small double-barreled derringer is a leading choice amongst civilians who just want a nice extra piece for their collection. Its stable weight makes it not demanding to handle. It has a lot of power with tremendous precision. This particular double-barreled derringer comes with an ivory grip, with decorations made of horn and a medium duty barrel, which could be gilded if so desired. This weapon was originally designed as secret technology project, but it soon became a known name across the world and is now in use by many recreational gun owners. Its official name is the G-0R, but it generally goes by its unofficial name: Midnight. My steps slow as I grow nearer to the living room my fears start to crawl up my spine. What came next I could never anticipate. Never in a million years did I ever expect this to happen.
