Finns POV~
I wasn't planning on drinking tonight, I'm not gonna be like that. Drinking after breaking things off with a girl. That's not me. Definitely not me.I was hanging in the kitchen with Caleb, Gaten, and Sadie.
I grabbed a root beer instead from the fridge and twisted it open using just my hands. "Dude, what is that, like your tenth one?" Gaten calls me out.
"Only my fourth. Besides, it's just root beer." I shrugged and gulped most of it down.
It got quiet.
"Noah texted me saying that Millie was coming to the party too, do you guys see her?" Caleb mentioned, immediately catching my attention.
"No." I answered quickly, gaining all of their attention. I looked down and drank more. "Well... umm... I'm gonna go." I changed the subject, chugging down the rest of my root beer and setting it on the table.
"Okay." They all said, looking a little confused. I nodded and left the kitchen, going into the crowded living room. I just scanned the whole room, looking for no one in particular, then my gaze fell on two people. Jacob and Millie.
'Why are they together? Danc- no, grinding. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. I think I remember Millie saying she's not really a party person. What's she doing here then? With Jacob, of all people?'
I put my attention back on them and they were turned toward each other, then he dragged her out of the living room. I unintentionally clenched my fists and followed behind them discreetly.
I went upstairs after them, when I got it the top there was a door cracked open a little. I looked in and it was them.
'They're just talking. What's Jacob playing at?'
"How's your day going?" He asked.
"It's going good, but I found out that Finn was dared to ask me out." She shrugged.
'I don't know why but now I'm feeling a small amount of guilt. I never feel guilt so what the hell is going on?'
"He's an ass, I'm sorry." He consoled. I rolled my eyes but still continued to watch. "What do you want to do? Still talk?" He asked, changing the subject. Millie shook her. "What then?"
"Hmm." She hummed, standing up from the chair she was sitting on and walking over to him. "I don't know." She shrugged, getting on him and straddling his lap.
"Whatcha doing?" He smirked, resting his hands on her hips. I clenched my jaw and fists, my eyebrows furrowed.
"Something." She mumbled and leaned closer to him, kissing him. My muscles got tense as my heart rate sped up and I got hot all over. Anger boiled down deep in my system, as hot as lava. It churned within, hungry for destruction, and I know it's too much for me to handle. The pressure of this raging sea of anger would force me to say things I do not mean, or to express thoughts I've suppressed for weeks. I know this feeling will pass, but while it hasn't, I'm well aware I could really hurt people.
Without thinking of the outcome, I walked right into the room. I grabbed Millie and pulled her off of him. "What the hell?!" She shouted.
"Dude, what the hell are you doing?!" Jacob lashed out. I punched him square in the face and he tumbled back onto the bed.
"Fuck!" I gasped in a tight voice, my hand actually hurting after that. I grabbed Millie's arm and pulled her out of the room.
"Let go of me!" She screamed, slapping my arm; but it didn't phase me. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" She tried to pull her arm away but I didn't let her go.
"We're leaving." I said and finally got downstairs.
"I'm not going anywhere with you!" She kicked my shin, making me stumble a little but I still didn't let her go.
"Calm down." I turned to her.
"I will not calm down! Let me fucking go!" She screamed more, but not grabbing anybody's attention from the music being so loud.
"Woah, woah, woah. So you did go looking for her. I thought so. You owe me twenty bucks, Gaten." We approached my friends who were coming toward us. Gaten rolled his eyes and gave him money.
"Where's Noah?!" Millie asked frantically, still trying to escape my grip.
"He's-." Sadie started but was quickly cut off by Caleb.
"This is a five." Caleb scoffed.
"He's-." Sadie started again but was cut off by Gaten.
"I'll give you the rest later." Gaten sighed.
"He's—." Sadie started, angrily now.
"No, now. I want to get—."
"Goddammit, let me talk!" Sadie snapped at them, making the both of them jump and mumble 'sorry' to her. She let out a frustrated sigh and turned back to Millie and Finn. "He's outside. He said he wanted to get some fresh air, alone." Sadie finally answered.
"Let me go." Millie glared at me. I reluctantly let go and she left.
"What was that?" Caleb and Gaten asked in unison.
"Nothing." I mumbled.
"That sure didn't look like nothing to me. What's going on, Finn?" Gaten asked.
"Nothing is going on." I rolled my eyes.
"Finn, you can talk to us." Sadie cut in.
"Nothing's going on! Why can't you guys just accept that?! Jesus, fuck!" I snapped as I pushed my way past them.
'I have had enough of this! I just need to get out of here. I don't even know why I followed Millie and Jacob upstairs. I don't even know why I dragged her downstairs. I don't even know why I'm pissed right now!'
I just need to get Millie out of my head and I'll be fine. I sighed and walked out the door, seeing Millie holding Noah's hand. They both looked up at me. "I can't even believe this." I scoffed. "I should've known all along, I mean, you're wearing his clothes!" I laughed maniacally as I went to my car then drove off.
I was driving way over the speed limit but I just don't care. I don't care anymore. I don't care what they say.
But when I actually heard a siren and saw red and blue flashing lights behind me, I meant ally cursed myself.
I looked in the rear view mirror, seeing the red and blue lights blinking closer. "Shit." I mumbled under my breath as I pulled over. I'm going to be in way more trouble than any other speeder will be.
There was a knuckle tap at my window.
I rolled down the window, not looking up. "License and regis- Finn." The chief of police, otherwise known as my father said. "What the hell are you doing?" He shouted.
I didn't reply.
"You know what? I don't have time for this. Get out of the car, now." He opened my door and backed up as I got out. He chuckles a little bit. "You smell like alcohol and cigarettes too. Let's see what your mom is going to say about this when we get home." He smirked and handcuffed me.
"I wasn't even drinking or smoking." I told him, but he didn't seem to believe me.
He drug me to his cop car and put me in back as he drove home.
'I'm in deep shit right about now...'
