Millie's POV~
'There's no way to describe how good I feel. I feel fresh. New even. It's weird feeling like this. I have so much energy, it's crazy. It feels as if I've slept for days and I just woke up feeling refreshed. I can probably run a marathon right now. I can't stop moving, I want to do something. I need to do something, use this newfound energy I have. To take advantage of it.'It's been about twenty minutes since I got the blood transfusion, and I'm still waiting in the room till I get released. David is talking to the doctors outside, and I'm just sitting on the bed, kicking my feet out, running out some energy.
But I'm still really awake and refreshed.
"I need to see her! Come on! It's been three hours! What's she doing to where I can't see her?!" A familiar voice shouted from outside. I furrowed my eyebrows as I hopped off the bed and walked toward the door.
"Please, Mr. Wolfhard, just stay here. You're not family and it's not visiting h—."
"I don't care! I want to see her!" Finn shouted back at the doctor, cutting him off.
"Finn—."
I opened the door and looked out, glancing down the hall both ways and seeing Finn yelling at the doctor to my right. "Finn, calm down!" Another doctor shouted.
"Finn?" I said. The second his name left my mouth, Finn glanced down the hall at me and looked back the doctors with glares.
"Jesus, fuck, finally." He spat and ran down the hall to me. He embraced me in his arms and picked me up. "You feel okay?" He mumbled into my hair, his voice now low and calm. His arms were wrapped securely around my waist as mine laid on his shoulders, not really knowing how to react.
"I-I'm good...?" I answered, furrowing my eyebrows. The doctors walked down to us and Finn still held me up in the air.
"Millie, you have to rest, we don't know if—."
"She's fine." Finn turned toward them and put me down, grabbing onto my hand, confusing me even more.
"I'm okay." I told them, nodding. I glanced down at our hands and pulled mine smoothly out of his. I looked back up at them and felt Finn glaring at me, but I didn't acknowledge it.
"Okay, well, since you clearly look okay, I guess I'll just fill you in on a few things." The doctor, Dr. Reiser, grabbed a pen and paper from his breast pocket. "I'll have some prescriptions of medicine sent to you through mail, it's iron, b-12, vitamin d, garlic pills, and ibuprofen." He said, making me widen my eyes from how much things I have to take.
"I have to take all of this?" I ask, raising my eyebrows in shock.
"Just to make sure your blood and iron levels stay up." He told me, and I nodded.
"How long do I have to take it?"
"Not long. Maybe, two or three weeks?" He guessed and I nodded again.
"Okay. When can I go?" I ask, wanting to leave now.
"In a couple of hours so we can ge—."
"We're leaving now. I don't care." Finn cut him off, grabbed my hand, and pulled me backward, starting to walk down the hall, leaving them.
"You ca—."
"Just let them. They aren't actually going to leave without David." One of the other doctors interrupted. Finn had a tight grip on my hand so I couldn't just pull it away, so I just let him take me to wherever we were going.
"You're really doing okay?" Finn asked, giving my hand a little squeeze.
'Why's he acting all nice and caring all of a sudden? It's... weird...'
