Okay, who is Yato, and why do I get the strange feeling that I know him? What was the connection between my dreams and some guy I have never met? All of these guessing games are making me anxious and frustrated and maybe a combination of the both. Now, what word would that be? Is there even a word to describe that or do I have to make one of my own?

"Hi, Yukine. I'm [Y/N]." I smiled at the young blonde boy who blushed at me.

I knew exactly what a regalia was. Kofuku had explained it all to me in detail. She told me that was what Daikoku was and that human spirits were made into regalia. The fact that one was younger than I am made my heart ache.

"Is Yati still here?" Kofuku asked Yukine.

That must be her nickname for Yato. Her nickname for me is [N/N] even though I don't necessarily like it. She knows not to use one of my other nicknames. Because the name itself is a trigger. Pretty shameful I know.

"Yeah, he's sleeping." Yukine said.

"Is Yori-chan coming?" Kofuku explained.

"No idea." Yukine explained. "She's probably going to school at the moment. Or soon."

I noticed how Kofuku and Daikoku shared a look. A look that told me they didn't want me to know anything. What was I not supposed to know? They knew this Yato person. This Yato person could help me with the nightmares that plague me. The ones that plague me and not the real nightmares that PTSD gives. Because I have that too.

"So, how do you know Kofuku and Daikoku, [Y/N]?" Yukine asked me.

"Oh, well you see. I stumbled upon Kofuku when I first moved here and we've been friends ever since. Kofuku does my hair in the morning while Daikoku gives me food." I explained.

"Why?" he asked me naturally curious. Like all young people are.

"It's a long story actually." I replied shooting down any reminescence of my horrid life.

"Don't you need to head on to school, [Y/N]?" Kofuku asked.

But she hadn't even down my-. How the hell is my hair in a fishtail braid? Man was she incredibly fast and incredibly invisible. I left the small house with my schoolbag and walked to school. School was school. It was the same. It was the usual. It was totally not my style. Anyways, I had three wonderful friends that I absolutely love there though.

"Hey, [Y/N]." Akira Yamashita called when I got to the steps of the high school.

I turned to the brunette girl that was with Hiyori Iki and Aimi Tabata. I have been in Japan since middle school, and these three were the first people I ever met. Sure, they all have their quirks. Such as Hiyori fainting at random times because she has narcolepsy. But it were the quirks that made the ups and downs of our relationship so enjoyable.

"Hi, Yama, Aimi, Hiyori." I greeted them.

"Are you ready for gym?" Aimi asked me.

"Gym? We have to dress out today? I thought we had health!" I whined.

PE/Health was our first period class. Luckily, there was a such thing as deoderant and the shower. Because if we didn't have that then our entire lives would end. The stench would be atrocious even for someone who cannot smell. Like my [sibling].

"Nah. Our health teacher is out for the rest of the week, so we have PE." Yama explained for Aimi.

"Why? Why did you have to do this to me?" I complained to the world.

"Well, it's not the world's fault that Coach Edgeson fell off his ladder of his one story house. Blame gravity." commented Hiyori.

I grunted as we made our way to homeroom where we would dismiss to the gymnasium for the worst part of everyone's day. PE. If the school board was worried about people being obese in the future, they should have made themselves go through this course. Because I bet that there is at least one obese person on that board. They shouldn't make us suffer if they aren't.

I hate gym. Why? It's actually pretty simple really. I can't throw, catch, kick, or block anything. Well, without damaging some part of my body at least. I'm sure my friends remember the time I got a soccer ball to the stomach. The nurse became my friend after that. Quite disgusting really. Today, we were doing dodgeball. Now, this is my favorite part of PE.

When you get to pulverize someone with a ball. Yes, the great sport of dodgeball. Now, I was always on one of my friend's team as there was at least a hundred kids in PE at a time (even though we all had different teachers). And it was split into four different teams. So, yeah. That was pretty interesting all on its own. Unfortunately, the events that would soon transpire would change my future into either one filled with disaster or one filled with peace.

Hiyori was on my team. And she got pelted in the face with a dodgeball. Normally, a face hit was a penalty that resulted in an out of the person who did it. But at that moment that didn;t matter. What mattered was that Hiyori had fallen asleep. I had no idea if she fell asleep before it hit her or after it did. And that she wasn't actually asleep.

Because she was right in front of me with a purple tail. I would have screamed, but I didn't. Hiyori noticed this. She noticed me looking at her. She waved her hand in front of my face (to make sure most likely), and I grabbed her wrist.

"You can see me?" she asked.

"What's going on?" I asked her.

Another mystery. Another mystery that needs to be solved before my real problem can be no more.

"I'm part phantom." she explained.

What? She's part one of those things the regalias destroy? How the hell does that possible make any sense?

"Do you know how you can see me?" she asked me.

I shook my head. "I don't. Sorry."

"Don't worry. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this. I'll explain everything to you later. After school." she told me.

I had an entire day with questions swirling around my head. I knew where we were going to go. I just wished Kofuku and Daikoku told me first before I found out this way. I wish everything in my life wasn't so damn confusing.
