"Father... Please talk to me."
" What is there to talk about. My own daughter kissed a phantom. And in the light of the death of her fiancé."
"I never loved him. That 'phantom' as you like to call him, he's the one I love. "
" Enough. Tomorrow starts the war. And it's yours and that phantoms fault. "
With that he left for the training facility. I didn't see him for the rest of the night.
...
I woke up the next morning to gunshots and screaming. I looked out the window and saw that the the city was now the battlefield. I saw people running every where. I had to do something.
I left the house and helped everyone go to the underground shelter. I saw a little baby no older than 2 crying. I ran to get him. As I ran after I picked him up I felt something shoot me.
I fell down. But I had to save this baby. I made it to the shelter and went to the garden. Once I sat down I checked my wound. I was shot in the side. Then I blacked out.
