I've never seen Isaac so determined before. He really truly loved this girl. So I had to do my best to keep her alive. I picked her up from the ground and ran to the medical center. Once I got there people started surrounding me.
" Shot to the right lower abdominal. Passed out due to loss of blood. " I said.
" What else is there Benny?" One of the doctors asked.
“ She's a roach." I answered
"Benny you know we can't treat roaches. Take her back."
" Sir this girl means something to a friend of mine. If you let her die then you're killing two people at once. Just think of her as your own daughter. Would you let her die?" I paused then...
" Okay let's get her into surgery fast. I need a unit of O blood and and an IV put in now. We have to get that bullet out."
" Thanks doc."
I turn around and I see Isaac and the girls father walking in.
