okay hi, yes i know- this is not an update, but! i want to discuss a couple youtube videos from last week (i think(: )
first video is
DAN HOWELLS "basically, i'm gay" video.
can we just discuss this- feel free to leave any comments or opinions.
before i start- i'd like to say that i am incredibly proud and happy for dan.
i think this was a big step for dan. although he isn't that open with his fan base, he still lets us in and see his emotions toward certain topics.
but i want to discuss the bullying aspect-
it's completely horrible the way the kids at dan's school treated for being 'different' as if that was a bad thing. i think the fact that he opened up about the physical abuse he received from the numerous amount of boys from school is horrifying and well- spreads awareness for other children out there.
i think his video was a good way for him to come out and the way he voiced his opinion on his own topics was amazing. i love how he split it up within chapters and talked deeply with his life.
i respect the privacy he wants with his family and of course phil (though we all shipped phan when we were 12).
