My eyes opened and I let out a yawn before rubbing my eyes to realise I was back in my room. It was 9am right now, Shawn must have brought me back after I fell asleep on him.

I stretched before getting out of bed and making my way to the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth before tying my hair up.

I had a huge smile on my face as I walked out of the bathroom and downstairs for some breakfast. Cole was plating up, Lance was washing his hands at the sink and Shawn sat in his seat drinking coffee.

Once his eyes met mine a smirk attached on to his lips and I grinned before trying to hide my smile.

"Good morning" I sang giving Cole and Lance a hug as I walked past them and to the table.

"Morning Elle" Cole smiled as he handed me a plate with my breakfast and I thanked him as I started eating it.

Shawn sat opposite me with his head down just occasionally glancing at me. We tried not to make it obvious that we were alright because Lance and Cole were very angry at him still.

The awkwardness filled in the kitchen as they did their own thing, no one speaking to each other. I silently sat and ate my food, my head snapped up as I felt Shawn's foot tap my leg.

We kept tapping each other's leg under the table and stealing glances sneakily at each other, this was weird and cute at the same time.

I think I had deeper feelings for Shawn then I thought I did. Which built up over the course of a month but felt like six months since we practically lived together.

After breakfast Shawn disappeared and I was dragged to the living room by Cole and Lance. The three of us trying to play twister again.

"I really hope he learnt his lesson, that dick" Cole spat and I just froze.

"Elle don't forgive him ever, don't even talk to him to make him feel guilty" Lance says.

"That heartless bitch probably has no feelings" Cole scowled.

This was so awkward because they were so mad at him, while Shawn and I were getting back on to terms.

"Holding grudges is not good. We should talk it out and clear our consciences. I don't normally like holding grudges" I smoothed over.

"You don't hold grudges but we do, that's why we're here today killing all these people from generation of grudges" Lance says and I let out a chuckle.

"That's why having no grudges would stop this absurd gang stuff" I say and they agreed.

"But we will leave this stuff and everything will go back to normal" I say and they shrugged.

After playing three rounds of twister and Cole spraining his ankle because Lance crushed it, I was making my way back up upstairs.

As I descended up the stairs Shawn walked out of his office and slyly smiled at me. As I approached he started talking.

"Well this is-" he was cut of as gunshot rang across the house, the bullet piercing through the small window of the hall.

"Get in the office" Shawn yelled as he pushed me into his office quickly locking the door.

"Fuck fuck fuck" he cursed frantically as he went to his desk as he called up the security.

"Yes fucking checking out! What the fuck was that" he screamed into the phone.

"Cole! Lance? Hello? Can any of you hear me?" He frantically spoke into the phone.

"Yes she's in here"

"What the fuck!"

"How did they find us?"

"Kill them all" he screamed before cutting the call and falling back into his chair.

"Shawn what's going on?" I asked in worry as I sat in the seat.

"Ashton's men are here they're outside surrounding the premises. But it's going to be handled" he says and my heart was pounding in worry.

"Get in there" he says pulling me into a door at the back of the office. I was pushed inside as he locked the heavy metal door.

"I'm scared" I say as I stuck with him in this claustrophobic confined space with Shawn.

"Shh Cole and Lance are sorting it out and they're going to come and get us out" he says.

"I feel claustrophobic, I can't breathe" I say and Shawn looked down at me in worry.

"Just relax" he says as she pulled me into his arms holding me in this tight space. I pressed my face into his chest as he relaxed me. I was feeling sick and I could hear my heart trying to break my rib cage.

I was extremely terrified knowing the men who were after me were here raiding the living space I was in. I started crying out of terror and Shawn tried shushing me to quieten down.

Suddenly the office door bursted open and I was immediately quiet. Shawn pressed his finger to his lip to signal I had tot be quiet, I was so quiet that I think I almost stopped breathing.

"They've escaped! Get blondie and the bearded one" I heard a man shout angrily before a few things slammed around in the office.

Everything was silent before yelling, screaming and multiple gunshots were fired. I was shaking and trembling in Shawn's arms as he held me tightly.

This is all too much.

All the commotion stopped downstairs and the office door was swung open again with multiple footsteps echoing the office.

"It's clear!" Lance's voice spoke and a sudden relief waved over me as I relaxed.

The door opened and Lance stared at the both of us as I was wrapped in Shawn's protective embrace. I just cried into Shawn's chest and he shushed me quietly.

"Come here" Lance said softly as he pulled me out of Shawn's arms into his. Shawn didn't react but let Lance comfort me.

Shortly after Cole ran into the office panting. "It's clear down there, they're cleaning up the mess down there" Cole explains.

"What are we going to do now?" Lance asks.

"Well it isn't safe here anymore, we need to move to the safe out in Toronto" Shawn's stern voice spoke.

"Cole start making the preparations for our arrival, we leaving tonight. While I sort this fucking raid out" Shawn spat angrily.

"Lance you take care of Elle" Shawn says and Lance nodded.

"Right everyone let's get a move on now" Shawn says slapping his hand on the desk.

"We're leaving tonight" Shawn says dismissing all of us.
