My eyes opened as the sunlight beamed in to the room. I let out a yawn before I stretched and got out of bed. I slept a bit bit last night then I did the first night here, I'm still adjusting to being here but hopefully all of this will be over so I can go back to my normal life.

I got out of bed and went to the restroom before coming out and making my way out to go to the kitchen.

I stopped in my tracks because it was silent. There was no noise at all and when both Lance and Cole are together they make so much noise.

However, I still made my way down to the kitchen and Shawn was only there drinking his coffee staring at the cup in a deep thought. "Morning" I say making my presence aware as I stepped into the kitchen and he looked up at me.

"Cole left a plate of pancakes for you" He says pointing towards the other counter. I quietly walked over and picked up the plate which had pancakes decorated with strawberries.

I picked up the plate placing it onto the island counter. I sat on the chair opposite Shawn's like normal, it seems to be my designated seat. I quietly started eating my breakfast as we both sat in silence before I decided to speak.

"Where are Cole and Lance?" I asked and he looked up at me.

"They're training out" he says and I nodded.

"What time will they be back?" I asked.

"A few hours maybe" he says and I sighed as I continued eating.

"I'm going to be working in my office, help yourself to whatever" he says as he made his way out of the kitchen and putting it cup in the sink before he left.

Most of the morning after breakfast I was so bored, I had nothing to do by myself. The whole house was completely quiet and I was so bored by myself.

So I got up from the couch and walked upstairs and to Shawn's office.

I knocked on the door and then opened it as I popped my head in through the door to see Shawn at his desk. His head popped up looking at me and I smiled as I walked in.

"What can I do for you?" He asks as I walked inside.

"I'm bored" I replied as I plopped myself into the seat in front of his desk.

"Okay and?"

"Is there anything I can do because I'm so bored?"

"I don't know" he says and I sighed.

"Can I go outside?" I asked and he immediately boomed a "No".

"Can I see what you're doing?"

"No"

"Can I help?"

"No"

"Can I ask you questions?"

"No"

"Why are you always rude?"

"I said no"

I huffed as I sat back in the chair and crossed my arms frowning. He glanced up at me discreetly from his work and a small curve appeared on his lips before he looked back down at his work.

I huffed again to make him aware I was still bored. He looked up at me again and imitated my actions and I let out giggle before he stood up. "Come on" he says and I stood up with a victory smile following him.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I meekly followed behind him.

"I'm locking you up so you stop bothering me" he says and I gasped.

"Are you serious?" I asked in seriousness because I know he is capable of anything.

"I'm only joking Elle" he says and I let out a breath of relief.

He took me through a door that I had never even noticed and it lead to a long hallway. Before stopping right at the end at another door and he opened the door and I followed him inside.

"Whoa" I say in astonishment at a secret hidden library. It was huge and seemed very old but had that amazing book smell.

"I've never brought anyone here before but this is my library" he says and I smiled.

"I love reading and this is just amazing" I sat and he nodded.

"You have my permission to come in here when you want but please do not do ruin it" he says and I nodded in excitement.

"This house is huge, so I think I need a tour of the place" I say and he chuckled lightly.

"Do you want one now?" He asks and I nodded.

"You're distracting me from my work but I'll show you" he says and I squealed as I followed him out.

"Do not freak out when I show some of the places" he says.

"I won't I'm totally cool" I say and he shook his head as I followed him down the stairs.

This wasn't even house, it was a huge freaking mansion that was guarded by security like it was a famous persons house or something. I cant believe no one offered me a tour of this place.

The doors opened and I screamed when I saw a huge beautiful pool. Shawn covered his ears and scowled at me.

"I mean- pfft it's just a pool" I say and he shook his head.

"I just want to jump in it right now" I say as I went closer and my arm was gripped before I was pulled back by Shawn.

"I wasn't going to jump in it" I laughed and he chuckled.

"Seeming how excited you were I didn't want to doubt you" he says and I shook my head.

"Well I know I'm definitely going to be here all the time" I say as I followed him back out.

He showed me around at the other bedrooms in this place, a room with all of the security stuff, a room with cool weapons and the gym.

"This would be a fun place to play hide and seek, you have a huge house" I say and he shook his head.

"Don't even tell Lance and Cole that idea" he says and I frowned.

"Do you have any board games, we could have a fun game night or something?" I asked and he laughed in my face.

"This is house of gang members not a children's playgroup" he spat rudely and I was so confused and taken back by his sudden attitude change.

Only ten minutes ago he was kind of normal and only within a split second he changed. He has to be bipolar.

It was so awkward walking beside him now because I didn't want to say anything and have him scream or lash out at me.

We walked down the steps and suddenly the front door opened and both Shawn and I stopped in our tracks.

I gasped loudly when I saw Lance and Cole both dripping in blood, beaten and bruised being held by two other guards.

"What the fuck happened?" Shawn exclaimed at the sight of them...
