Lance and Cole have been recovering for the last week because of their injuries and I was adjusting to staying here. I was bored out of my mind staying here everyday for 24 hours.

I missed my friends and my unhealthy diet, the guys like to eat healthy food because of their physique and training. But I really didn't like being here in this place feeling trapped but alas it was for my safety so there was nothing I could do.

I've observed a lot like how rude and angry Shawn gets over small things. There's only a few times I've seen him be normal.

Also Lance and Cole have one of the best friendships I've witnessed in my life. They fight like cats and dogs but have each other's backs like brothers which was adorable. Shawn obviously has their backs too but he didn't seem like the type to show any emotion.

"Elle! Elle!" My name was being screamed which made me rush from the kitchen to the living room.

"Are you guys okay?" I asked as I came in to see Cole and Lance laying on one couch each.

"Can you watch us play and settle the winner because we keep getting a tie but we need you to choose a winner" he says as they were playing a video game.

"I think this will lead to a fight between the both of you so it's best if I just-"

"Sit down!" They both yell at the same time as they started the game. I was hoping that they get distracted so I could sneak away.

Only two minutes into the game and they both were yelling, screaming and swearing at each other. This was my opportunity to slip away so I managed to do that as I quickly and quietly made my way out of the room.

I was watching them while making my way out and as I stepped out of the room I let out a breath. I turned and bumped straight into Shawn, who in instinct grabbed my arm incase I fell and I blushed slightly.

"What-" before he could finish talking I slapped my hand over his mouth, which only made his eyes cross to look at my hand. His firm lips were pressed against the palm of my hand which was sending a tingly sensation through my hand.

He started walking backwards as I was walking forward with my hand still over his mouth before we got into the kitchen. I pulled my hand away and he cleared his throat.

"What's going on in there?" He asks in a whisper.

"They want me to settle a winner between them and I do not want to cause any fights so I had to sneak out. And I don't want them to know that I sneaked out-"

"Elle!" I heard my name being screamed again from the living room.

I let out a sigh and my eyes closed but Shawn let out a chuckle. "Elle!" They screamed again and I groaned.

"I'm coming!" I shout back before I shook my head.

I walked out of the kitchen and back into the living room and Shawn followed behind me.

"Cole kicked my controller so he cheated!" Lance says like a child and I bit my lip so I didn't laugh.

"Well you threw a pillow at me!" Cole defends and then they both started bickering.

"Stop! Shut up the both of you" I yelled and they both went immediately quiet.

"That's it you both are not playing anymore until you can behave" I say as I took each of their controllers and switched off the game.

"Apologise to each other" I demand and they scowled at each other. I glanced at Shawn who had a smirk on his face getting amusement from the whole situation.

"I'm counting and don't let me get to three" I say as I place my hand on my hip.

"1...."

"2..."

"Sorry" the both apologised to each other and I smiled.

"Go have a nap the both of you, and then you can get your dressings changed and the skin cleaned" I say and they nodded before getting up.

"Behave." Shawn warned as they were walking out.

"Whatever dad" Lance groaned as they both disappeared.

I started laughing once Shawn closed the door, he walked around and sat on the couch. I fell beside him and started laughing which only made him look at me and let out a chuckle.

"They act like children and who would have know two scary gang members would listen to me" I laughed.

"Well it's only been a week and you've seem to got them under your control" Shawn says and I laughed.

"Except you, because your the boss of this place" I say and he nodded with a smirk.

"I'm impressed princess" he says and I blushed at the name he called me.

"That impresses you but not me being able to fit 8 marshmallows in my mouth?" I say and he chuckled.

"9 would have" he says and I giggled.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"You always have something to say don't you?" He says and I grinned.

"Can we go out? Please I really hate being stuck here, just for a little drive or walk. If I try walking out I'm dragged back in by one of your scary dudes outside" I say and he sighs.

"You need to understand that you can't Elle" he says and I frowned.

"Also I hate all this healthy food, I want a burger" I huffed as I crossed my arms.

"I would let you go out but with Ashton's men lurking around New York it's not safe" he says and I sighed.

"How much longer am I staying here? I miss my friends and being able to eat junk food and just having fun without out being in fear of being killed" I say truthfully.

"I know what you mean Elle but trust me if you were in my position you would be even scared. I cant even look out the window without the fear of someone shooting me. I risk my life everyday walking out of the door wondering if I can make it back in. I have all this power but I also do have a lot of hate" he says and my eyes widened.

"Whoa" I say as I looked up at him.

"You'd think a guy like you wouldn't fear anything" I say and he sighed.

"We all have our fears but it's just how well some people can conceal it" he says and I nodded.

"I feel like we always end up somehow getting into a very deep conversation" I chuckle and he nods.

"Things we're going to get into are going going to be very deep" he mumbles.

"Huh?"

"Nothing, I need to just catch up with some work but I'll see you at dinner" He says dismissing the conversation and hastily rushing out.

What to do now? I thought to myself before I got off the couch...
