Chapter 47

Diana charged towards the scene and the boy who was eating the sandwich watched her with disdain before he got up and ran behind her. "Hey lady! What do you think you're doing?!" The little boy asked and Diana ignored him.

"Stop kicking him!" She yelled at the two boys who were kicking seoljun but they didn't listen to her. The boy who was running behind her earlier, kicked her foot and Diana, out of instinct, turned around and grabbed his ear then began to twist it. The boy let out a painful scream then she let go of his ear and he began to cry.

Diana grabbed the other two boys by the collars and dragged them towards the principal's office with everyone in the hallways watching as the two bullies get a taste of their own medicine.

"Seoljun has average grades-" the principal was cut off when Diana burst through the doors of his office holding two crying 10-year olds. Namjoon went from pissed off to shocked, to confused, too embarrassed to pissed off again. He got up from his seat and walked over to Diana and the principal just sat in his chair with wide eyes.

"What the Fuck are you doing?!" Namjoon hissed But Diana ignored him and released the two kids from her hold, she turned to the principal and Namjoon swore she that the cognac she had last night was now started to take a hold of her, "I suggest you call in the parents of these students to have a meeting right now" Diana ordered the principal.

"But what for ma'am?" The man asked and Namjoon was more embarrassed than he had been embarrassed before in his life. "I saw these two rats kicking the life out of seoljun- your son "she said and pointed to Namjoon who's eyes widen

"Wah-What?!" Namjoon's voice was an octave lower than it should've been and his face was red. He looked like he was going to burst and the principal noticed this and called their parents immediately.

After an hour or so, the parents arrived and Diana had to be kept in a separate room, Seoljun was taken to the nurse to be treated and Namjoon called Hwasa to inform her about the situation but she couldn't make it- how shocking.

"Now please- parents, cooperate with me so that this will be dealt in the right way" the principal said, "first, can you, tell us what you did to Kim seoljun?" The principal asked the two of the boys who were caught kicking seoljun, their names were Minho and Taemin, they remained silent.

"Say something" Namjoon hissed and the parents of the boys glared at him, he returned the look. "We-we beat him up every day-" Minho started but Namjoon shot up from his seat

"Every fucking day?!" He roared, god, he was so grateful that Diana wasn't in here right now, "language" the principal warned but Namjoon glared at him causing him to look away.

"Why do you beat him up every day?" The principal asked. "He's fat..and rude..so we're just..doing him a favour..beating him and eating his lunch so that he could lose weight and learn respect" Taemin said and Namjoon walked out the office he'd heard enough and all he wanted to do was to see his son.

The principal hummed. He was warned by numerous students about the behaviour of Taemin, Minho and woobin but he would chase them out of his office. It was partially his fault and If Namjoon or Diana heard about this, he would surely be in some heat.

"I'm not going to press on this any further, your sons will be suspended for 9 days and will have detention and cleaning duties for the rest of the term" the principal dismissed. The parents of those students scolded them the moment they left the office. Diana came out the room which happened to be the files room and she ran into the office to see that it was empty, "where did Mr Kim go? What happened to the kids?" Diana asked but the principal didn't answer her.

She shrugged off his rudeness and ran down the hallway until she saw the infirmary. She opened the door only to see Namjoon hugging a bandaged seoljun. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" Namjoon apologized, his voice was brittle and his eyes were glossy. Namjoon started crying in his son's neck and Diana stood there feeling paralyzed

The moment was nothing short of sad and genuine, it was a moment that broke the ice of their father son relationship. It was simple, some bad things have to happen in order for better things to occur and if seoljun's bullying incident was the factor that allowed it to happen then so be it, Namjoon learned from it, this being a prime example in his many failures as being a father and the vital role that Diana had in both their lives.

"Are you guys done? I deserve a thank you" Diana said and seoljun pulled away from his father and jumped in the arms of his nanny, ignoring the pain. Seoljun began to cry in Diana's neck, his mother wasn't here which disappointed him a whole lot and he made up his mind to disown her his mother.

"Hey, it's okay now, you're okay, you're safe and I'm here, your father is here" Diana said soothingly. Namjoon's emotions were getting the best of him and he couldn't deny how badly he wanted to hug Diana for this but he was angry with her for not wanting to attend the classes, he'll have to deal with her later.

Time Skippy

Diana and Namjoon walked onto the compound of Taehee's kindergarten while seoljun was in the car. Namjoon spoked to the principal then walked to Taehee's class with Diana following behind.

"OH MY GOSH!" Taehee screeched And Namjoon smiled nervously. "Oh Mr Kim" the teacher acknowledged his presence and put her reading book on her table then walked over to him. "Who is this with you?" The teacher asked gesturing to Diana, "I'm Diana, the nanny" she introduced herself and the teacher was shocked "I'm Mrs Jung, Taehee's teacher" the teacher extended her hand and Diana shook it with a nervous smile.

"Are you perhaps the infamous Deedee?" Mrs Jung asked and Namjoon was taken aback by her question. "Yes, I am" Diana responded with a light chuckle. "Oh, you're real, Taehee has been going on and on about you for weeks. Everyone in class has been waiting for your arrival" Mrs Jung said with the most genuine grin she musters, her wrinkles making their appearance.

"Class, someone special is visiting us today" Mrs Jung announced to her little caterpillars and Taehee was biting her teddy bear to prevent herself from screaming. "Who is it?! Who is it?!" The students asked eagerly.

"This is DeeDee" the moment the name left Mrs Jung's lips the students got up from their seats and stormed over to Diana. Namjoon got out of the way and watched with amusement, these kids were in love with her and they don't even know her. They began to hug her legs and ask her a lot of questions, Diana was helpless.
