chapter 3

When Jimin got back to the house, it was very late which meant his parents was asleep and Jimin being the hot head that he is, forgot to walk with his keys. Jimin put Diana to lay on floor of the front porch as he knocked on the door.

Impatiently, Jimin started banging on the door which woke his parents from their slumber. "did you hear that?" Mrs park asked her husband who gave her a 'duh' face.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"that must be Jimin" Mrs park stated the obvious again which made her husband groan. Mrs park walked down the stairs with her husband hesitantly and lazily following behind with one eye opened.

Mrs park opened the door only to be pushed by Jimin who carried Diana bridal style to her room, his father, now awake follows him while Ms park goes to her room for the blow dryer.

Jimin lays her on her bed with her wet clothing. Before he can strip her Mrs, park comes in the room and tells both men to go outside. She strips Diana of her clothing, dries her skin and puts on her night gown then blow dries her hair. Diana couldn't sleep in her bed which was wet, so she had to sleep on the couch but knowing Jimin, he would let her sleep in his room.

Jimin opens his door and let his father lay her down in his bed. His parents plants a kiss on her forehead before walking back to their room. Jimin sits on the floor while staring at the wall.

His thoughts begin to spiral out of control when he thinks of the possibilities of Diana getting a job. He thought of Diana being treated badly because of her skin colour and being the main target by her co-workers. He was afraid that she would be treated like an illegal immigrant who'll be exploited and payed half less than others. Jimin was afraid that Diana would get enough money for her to move out and she'll move on and forget about him.

Sitting on the floor all alone

Only my thoughts are growing bigger-

Diana begins to cough which causes Jimin to rush to her side and give her water, which she drinks but fall asleep immediately after.

Jimin spent his entire night giving her water, patting her head when she woke up crying and singing to her so that she can fall asleep. He didn't sleep though.

It was 9 am when Jimin decided to get off the floor and go downstairs to join his parents for breakfast. They had seafood salad, rice, vegetables, grilled short ribs and reddish stripped kimchi which was Diana's favourite.

"did you get any sleep?" Mr park asked but Jimin got up from his seat and went upstairs to take a bath. He was giving his parents the silent treatment because he thinks that its their fault when its mostly his.

"leave breakfast for her" Jimin says before leaving the house to go meet taehyung and Jungkook at the café.

When Jimin entered the café named check in Busan, his nose was greeted with the smell of fresh French toast and his ears was unfortunately greeted by the sound of Jungkook laughing while hitting the table.

"there you are" Jimin said as if he was looking for them. "aye jimin-ssi wassup" Jungkook said in a playful voce then roughly pulls Jimin in for a hug. Taehyung clears his throat which makes Jungkook pull away quickly but awkwardly.

"Jimin-ah, where is your baby bear?" taehyung asked which made Jimin drop his shoulder and sit down. "what happened?" Jungkook asked with concerned.

"a month ago, my mother told me that I need to tell Diana that she needed to get a job because the bills were piling up. I couldn't bring myself to say to her because it was impossible for her to get a job and it still is. I got frustrated and I called her a liability. It didn't go well with my mother which made Diana leave. I found her in the rain sitting in the road. She hasn't gotten up yet and I don't know if she's mad at me" Jimin explained

"what kind of fucked up Netflix shit is this? I told you to stop watching Netflix, after on my block, you should know that it's a very fucked up place" Jungkook ranted then received a smack behind his head from taehyung.

"could you stop spilling shit for a minute? " taehyung stammered which made Jungkook pout and get up from his seat abruptly. "b-. kook, I'm sorry" taehyung apologized quickly which made Jungkook sit down with a grin on his face.

Jimin raised his eye brows while looking at the two.

"anyways, I heard that Namjoon Hyung is coming back to Korea" Jungkook said "I can't wait to sit on his couch" Jungkook added dreamily. "what's so special about his couch?" taehyung asked in an aggressive tone then rolled his eyes "nothing" Jungkook responded in a small voice.

Jimin was wondering if there was something going on between his two friends that he didn't know about.

"whatever, we all know that his wife, hwasa cheats on him with wheein" taehyung says which causes Jimin to laugh at how ridiculous his statement sounded.

"do you feel the same" Jimin's ringtone sang as he embarrassingly retrieves his phone from his pocket. "can't believe this dude listens to wanna one" Jungkook said between laughs as taehyung remained quiet,feeling offended

"hello, ma "Jimin greeted. "Diana has been warded at hospital" his mother says which causes Jimin to hang up his phone and run out of the café without saying anything to his friends.

Jungkook and taehyung decided not to run after him as it might be a matter of family.

"not so fast Mr, what's so special about namjoon Hyung's couch?" taehyung stops Jungkook from getting up which causes him to groan.
