Ch. 16 Island Fun

  "Ha! And that's another win for me." You smiled with your hands on your hips. At your feet were 3 very disgruntled Heart Pirates.
  "We probably don't out up much of a fight for the captain of the Devil Pirates anyway.." Shachi said as he dusted himself off.
  "Speaking of the Devil Pirates, have you been able to contact them?" Penguin asked.
  "No.. not yet. I'm hoping I'll be able to once we're closer to an island." You replied as you played with your hair.
  "Don't worry, Mai! We're still here for ya!" You heard Bepo say. You looked at him a bit surprised, only for him to quickly apologize. You gave him a small laugh and thanked him. Shachi and penguin smiled widely and had a refreshed look on their faces. You looked over to a clock on the wall to see that it was starting to get late, you excused yourself so that you could take a shower and get ready for bed.
 
  You let the warm water cascade down your body, relaxing your muscles and releasing tension. It had been a while since you were able to shower, due to all the injuries you had, you had mostly been taking baths. You were enjoying every minute of the hot water massaging your shoulders and back, at least until there was a knock on your door. You turned off the water and quickly dried yourself off. You pulled on one of Laws baggy shirts and panties before you answered the door. Surprise, surprise, it was Law! Your heart began to race a bit when you became more aware of what you were wearing. Not to mention that he was just wearing a plain white v-neck shirt, sweats pants, and no hat!! Oh how you wanted to play with is hair, it just looked so soft. You were able to see more of his tattoos, causing a light blush to appear on your face. 'Damn this man for being so attractive!!' you couldn't help but to mentally curse. The way that his tattoos disappeared into his neck line just made you want to see more of them. You tried to shake those thoughts away before looking back up to Law.
  "I didn't mean to interrupt your shower, I just came by to give you this." He handed you a jumpsuit along with one of penguins hats and a black surgical mask.
  "Oh, thank you!" You quickly gathered the items and set them on the desk before making your way back to Law. Law watched you bounce towards your desk, as drops of water fell from your black hair. He quickly took notice that you weren't wearing any pants and by just how long your legs were. Although you were wearing a baggy shirt, it didn't really hide your figure. He could still see your curves, how your hips were fairly wide and your breasts stretched the fabric. He was mesmerized by how nicely built you were. Although more on the lean side, anyone could tell that you have muscle mass. He has seen you spar a bit with Bepo and could tell that you've trained your body well. The fluidity that comes from every move and by how quickly you analyze your opponents skills and attacks. You were trained from a young age and retain all that you've been taught, and then it just becoming muscle memory. Every time he's seen you fight, it was as if he was watching a dance. He was soon startled out of his thoughts when he heard you.
  "Is there anything else that I can do for you?" You asked before folding your hands behind your back.
  "Oh, no. I just wanted to drop those off, we'll go over some minor details tomorrow before setting foot onto the island." He said.
  "Alright, sounds good. Well, it is late and I am pretty tired from the training I did earlier, so I'm gonna head off to bed. Goodnight, Law." You smiled at him.
  "Goodnight, Mai-ya." He then began to walk down towards his own office to finish up whatever he was working on. You closed the door and let out a sigh.
  "This man is going to be the death of me.." you tried to calm yourself down as you still thought about what he'd look like without a shirt on. Your thoughts were starting to become a little too active so you slapped your hands to your cheeks, leaving visible hand prints.

  As morning came, you were woken up by someone knocking on your door and yelling that they'll be arriving to the island within the hour. You groggily tried to wipe the tiredness from your eyes and did a few quick stretches. You put on the jumpsuit, surprised that it was much more breathable than you initially thought. You then quickly put your hair up and hid it in the hat, and put on the surgical mask. Huh, this made you really look like a member of the Heart Pirates. You made your way out of the room to see Bepo leaning against the wall, his head perked up as he saw you come out of the room.
  "Oh I'm sorry Bepo, I didn't know someone was going to be waiting for me. I didn't make you wait, did I?" You quickly apologized to the bear.
  "Huh? No way, I haven't been here long. Captain thought it'd be a good idea for someone to show you the way out of the sub since you haven't really been able to explore much!" He quickly e plained. 'Wow, Law really did that? That's very considerate of him,' you thought.
  "Well, I'm happy that it's someone as adorable as you!" You cheered.
  "I'm sorry.." Bepo hung his head. You just chuckled, getting used to his odd habit.
  You took note of all the turns you took and frequently asked Bepo which room was what. He was kind enough to explain a few of them for you on your walk.
  "And that door up ahead is the exit!" Bepo called out as he ran ahead to open the door for you.
  "My, what a gentleman!" You teased the bear, only to cause him to apologize again. As you stepped out you were immediately hovered by Shachi and Penguin, saying how beautiful you looked with short hair, or how that the uniform looked good on you, so on and so forth. Penguin even bragged a bit about how you were wearing his hat.
  "Alright, settle down," Law pushed the pair back. He was the last to arrive on deck, wearing his usual attire. Thank God for the surgical mask, because you felt another blush creeping up on you. How dare he be so attractive?!
  Law was going over the basics of how the crew should act and what they should do in case if they run into marines. He really emphasized on the fact that this was just a supply trip, which earned a few groans from the others, other than that everyone was free to do as they like until sundown. I was about to head out as well, until Law stopped me.
  "Actually, Mai-ya, I'm going to have you stay with Bepo and I." You looked at Law, then at Bepo who was just nodding his head.
  "May I ask why?"
  "Marines are still looking for you, although you have a disguise, I think a little added security would do you some good." You couldn't help but to raise your eyebrow.
  "But you know that I am very capable of taking care of myself. I'm not saying that I don't want your company, it's just that this seems like a little much." You defended.
  "True, but even if you were to fight them and use your devil fruit, they would figure out who you were pretty quickly." You couldn't help but to agree with Law. With Law, you wouldn't have to worry about someone seeing your identity but you'd still be able to defend yourself.
  "Alright, you got me." You agreed. "So, where to first?"
 
  The three of you were enjoying your stroll through town, buying some street food along the way. You soon found a clothing store and quickly finished your small meal. You were surprised at the selection this place had. Everything from summer to winter attire. You hummed to yourself as you browsed the racks, picking out a few items as well. Bepo even brought over a few things too, his choices were.. interesting. As you were about to try on the clothes, you were surprised to see that Law brought over a few things for you too. You graciously accepted them and went on into the dressing room, you took off the hat but left the mask on. You were able to find lots of clothes that you really liked; a few shirts, a couple of pants, some shorts, a few dresses, even a nice big winter coat! You tried on the clothes that Bepo grabbed for you, but you only liked 3 shirts out of the 10 things he got you. Everything he grabbed had a polar bear! Then you tried on the handful of clothes that Law picked out. You actually liked everything, everything suited your style and fit you really well. Of course, it was all mostly just black, white, or gray, but he picked out a cute pastel blue sundresses for you. It fit you so well, it was a spaghetti strapped, ruffle top dress that ended at your mid thigh. It was a bit tighter on you upper torso, but waist down it was so flowy! You couldn't stop spinning around in it. Honestly, this dress was too cute not to show off, so you stepped out of the fitting room with it on and called Bepo and Law. They looked over at you, and Laws eyes widened just a bit.
  "So what do you guys think?" You twirled around. It was almost like Law was in a dream, the way that your hair fell around your body and how gentle your eyes looked. Even with the mask covering your face, he thought you looked beautiful.
  "You look lovely!" Bepo held up two thumbs up, making you smile. You looked over at Law and asked for his opinion.
  "Yeah, it looks good on you." He looked away, not wanting you to see the small blush that began to form on his cheeks. You were happy with the responses you got and quickly went back to change and pay for the clothes.
  As you heard the woman tell you the total, you reached into the pocket of the jumpsuit to grab your small pouch of beli, until Law stopped you.
  "Its on me." Law replied as he handed the beli to the cashier.
  "What? No, I can't. You already bought me food!"
  "Well that's too bad, she already rang it up." Law had a sly grin on his face.
  "Then let me pay you back," you quickly began to count the money out, until he stopped you again.
  "Don't worry about it, just pay me back once Ive returned you to your comrades." He said as he pushed your hand away. You kept trying to refuse, but he insisted. You just gave him a pout, he chuckled at your childish behavior. As the three of you were exiting the store, you all heard Shachi and Penguin yelling for Law.
  "Captain! Captain! There's trouble!" Shachi said as they caught up to the three of you. They stood there with their hands on their knees, trying to catch their breath.
  "What do you mean "trouble."" He questioned the pair. Which caused Penguin to speak up.
  "Down at the docks…!" He said between breaths, "There's a Vice Admiral on the island!"
