Ch. 6 White Beard

"What did you do to Luffy!?" You screamed, charging at Kuma. You threw a punch but he dodged.
"I sent him on a small trip, he and his crew," Kuma responded.
"What the hell does that even mean!?" You heard Kid yell out.
A wave of emotions washed over you, fear, worry, anger. You knew exactly what he meant, he sent them flying. Kuma has separated the Strawhat Crew. You charged at Kuma again, Law and Kid yelling for you to stop.
"Bring him back!" You said throwing another punch, Kuma deflected it using the pads on his hands. It made you fly back, Law caught you and tried to restrain you.
"Let me go, Trafalgar! I need to find out where Luffy is!" You yelled out, trying to free yourself from his grasp.
"Calm down, Mai-ya! Causing a scene won't do any good!" He yelled back in protest. You looked back at him, knowing he was right. You let yourself relax in his hands as you turned back to Kuma.
"I know you don't do these kinds of things without some kind of motive, why did you do this?" You asked the Warlord.
"I sent him to a place that will get him to where he needs to go, as I need to do to you," he stated.
"To me? You want to whisk me away to some island as well? Why?" You asked.
"This matter has to do with your other younger brother," replied Kuma. You looked at him in surprise, then you yell out with concern
"What happened to Ace!?"
"Ace..?" You heard Kid say.
"You don't mean.." murmured Law.
"Portgas D. Ace, also known as Fire Fist Ace, is to be executed in 5 days time." Kuma said. Taken aback, you stumbled, almost losing balance. Law holding you steady.
"Why didn't I know about this? How was he caught..?" You trailed off.
"He was brought in after his defeat with Marshall D. Teach, also know as Black Beard," you heard Kuma say.
"Teach!? But they were on the same crew! Oh god.. what is White Beard planning.." you have met White Beard once before, Ace introduced you both. You got along well with the old man so you were worried what he may do.
"The White Beard Pirates are planning to attack the Navy Head Quarters of Marineford where Ace will be executed." You looked up at Kuma as he spoke.
"Kuma.. you said that you were going to do to me as you did to Luffy.." you said as you freed yourself from Laws grasp and walked towards the giant Warlord.
"If you're going to do it, I suggest you do it now." You looked up at with with determination in your eyes.
"Hold on, Mai-ya! You don't even know what will happen!" Law protested.
"I have an idea of what'll happen, no need to worry. This may be the last time I see you both, but I had fun fighting along side you guys," you said turning and giving them a smile. Kuma swung his hand towards you, about to make you fly for three days and three nights. Just before he sent you off you you said one last thing to the pair of captains,
"Goodbye!" Kid and Law tried to reach a hand out to you, attempting to stop you, but suddenly you vanished. Only a cloud of smoke was left behind.

Laws P.O.V

You could only stand there, dumbfounded by what just happened. One Moment Mai was there, the next, she was gone. You looked at Kuma, and pointed your nodachi at him,
"Where did you send her!?" You yelled out.
"Where she needed to be. She asked me to, so there's no point in getting worked up." Kuma replied. You grew angry again, knowing he was right. You sheathed your sword.
"Now isn't the time to be lingering about, we need to get off this island before the Admiral shows up," you say looking back at your crew. Kid agreed,
"Besides, you need to go find your girlfriend," teased Kid.
"And why would you say she's my girlfriend?" You looked back at him, annoyance dripping from your tongue.
"Oh please, from the way you two were clinging to each other? I wouldn't be surprised if you two started fucking in the middle of the battlefield. Ha!" Kid called out.
"You're just angry she wasn't all over you. Jealousy doesn't look pretty on you, Eustass-ya," you called back. You heard Kid simply grunt as he made his way back to his crew.
"We're heading out!" He yelled to his men.
You walked back towards your own crew, giving orders of returning to the ship. You didn't want to waste time here fighting off anymore of those cyborgs and marines, and you sure as hell didn't want to face off against the admiral.
As your crew was heading towards the submarine, a group or marines had you all surrounded.
"Oh great.."

Mai's P.O.V

You lay on the floor trying to recollect your thoughts. All you could remember was the feeling of air rushing past your body, the feeling of being weightless. The sound of chatter, footsteps, and a faint beeping causing you to slowly open your eyes. You looked around you, you were in a hospital room. A small counter with a sink in the corner, medical supplies in the other, and you were laying on a hospital bed. You looked ahead and saw that the door was open very slightly, you began to slowly get up from the bed when the door started to open. The light from outside was bright, making you shield your eyes. Someone walked in but you couldn't make out who it was. The figure opening the door was rather tall, with a pineapple for a head?
"Oh good, you're awake. You surprised us when you suddenly landed on the ship, you know."
As the man closed the door you got a better look at him.
"Marco? Is that really you?" You asked in surprised.
"I should be the one asking that, how did you get on the ship? Vista found you lying next to Pops chair last night." Marco replied.
"That's...kind of a long story.." you trailed off, suddenly you jumped out of your bed grabbing onto Marco, "wait! Ace! How long before the execution!?" You yelled out. Marco taken aback, realized that you knew what was going on.
"He'll be executed in 3 days, were in our way to the execution site to get him back." March replied.
Suddenly you heard a voice boom from beyond the door summoning the both of you out on deck. You and Marco made your way out, coming face to face to the man who called for you.
"It's good to see you're awake, Mai. Now, could you tell me why and how you got on to the ship?" You looked up and saw none other than Edward Newgate, captain of the Whitebeard Pirates. You relayed the story of what happened on Sabaody Archipelago and how Kuma informed you of Aces execution.
"I want to go with you to bring him back."
