Chapter Fourteen

Area 415

Andrea POV
We all walked down the train tracks,"There it is, follow us" Arwen said to all of us, Chloe grabbed my shoulder,"I'm gonna stay behind to watch the truck and the children" I did think about it and nodded,"Okay you go do that, we're gonna see if this can operate" She loaded her M27-IAR, by the time we got there, it must've been at least 1/4th of a mile, there was a cart attached to the front, it was big enough for all of us and the supplies, Patrick handed us the manual and the train route map,"Have you tried attempting to work on this?" He nodded,"I took a good look at it and it seemed...complicated for me"
"That's okay, this could be Plan B once we get this figured out" I said as I went up front to get a look around to see if I'll be able to get this train going, the door opened and it was Dylan, I didn't mind the help, it actually felt nice,"She okay?" He looked over and nodded,"She's just hasn't been feeling so great"  Blaire couldn't come with me up here because she hasn't been feeling so hot lately, since this morning as a matter of fact, I nodded slowly as I was looking around,"Maybe we can find something for her" I knew I shouldn't have said that, now I gotta save myself,"Like what?" I had a pause and tapped my head,"Nothing I just remembered that there is Pepto Bismol in the truck for her, I am such an idiot" I pretended to chuckle a bit, but unfortunately he didn't buy that,"What are you trying to say Andrea?"
"Dylan it was nothing except that. You gotta learn how to trust me"
"No, no there was something else there, I can feel it" He got too close to me up to the point that I almost had to look up,"Dylan, I helped you when I didn't trust you, I gave you a chance, I let you in at Counterpart, trust me okay? We can't turn against each other now, we've lost too many people now and we can't lose any more" He inhaled and exhaled as he nodded, boy he needed a mint,"Got it" He said as he was slowly backing up and grabbed the train route map, as much as I wanted to say something, but I couldn't because I know I shouldn't assume. Michelle came up,"Hey Levitt, I'm gonna walk Blaire back to the truck for medicine, her stomach is getting slightly worse" Dylan was about to walk out with her, but she stopped him,"I need to help her Michelle, she's my girlfriend"
"A girlfriend that knows how to take care of herself as much as you can, she appreciates it, she does, but she needs you to focus on getting train up and running. She'll get better" He stood there quietly,"She'll be okay Dylan, she just needs you to focus on this right now" I said to him and he nodded,"Okay, I'll stay up here and help, just please make sure she gets better" Michelle said she will,"You go do that, when we get this going, we'll see if we can get this train over there so we can load up, you know save the trips back and forth for all of us" She nodded and walked down, Dylan switched papers with me and noticed be manual,"Wait wait, wait a minute, here are the switches and there" He started explaining the switches and manuals

Blaire POV
Michelle did tell me that Dylan was about to leave Andrea to help me, but she did tell him what I wanted her to say, my stomach was at that point that if I walked up, I could've puked and to be fairly honest, I wasnt in a mood to see my puke. She asked me if I was getting worse than before she went up there,"Its been neutral, I know that, every now and then, it's been  happening"
"What's been happening?" I sighed,"If I try to put pressure on my stomach like lifting or walking up those stairs, I could possibly puke, it's just being really sensitive today" I knew how it was sounding, but there is no way it could've happened, especially having my period after,"Really huh?"
"I've been up since this morning, there were brutal walkers, for once I paid attention to their definition" She nodded,"Yeah I can understand why, but are you sure?" I sighed in annoyance and nodded,"Yes" I kinda smiled and said to her,"I appreciate the concern, but all I need is Pepto Bismol for the time being and I'll be back on track"
"I'm just trying to look out for you here, we gotta stick together now" She put her arm around me,"We're family now" I chuckled in amusement,"We've always been a family" We managed to make it back in one piece, Chloe had her gun aimed at us, we raised our hands up,"Chloe!"
"Oh hey guys!" She apologized and explained herself,"I thought you were raiders" I scoffed and said to her,"Would a raider know your name?"
"You never know nowadays, what happened?" We were still walking towards, we went to the back,  I answered her question,"I havent been feeling good since this morning" I went to the back of the truck, seeing 3 children asleep, I rummaged through the boxes and came across 2 boxes that was labeled Medical,"Here it is" Chloe was slightly concerned,"W-Why?" I shrugged,"Could be from this morning, I have been up since 3am because the boys were talking and the whole walkers situation, got my stomach up in a knot, it's okay though, I'll live" I said as I was pouring a tablespoon of Pepto Bismol into the little cup,"Got any water? I need to rinse this out" I took a drink and Chooe handed me her water bottle,"Its humid out here anyway, not too bad"
"We need to figure out where to go when we get to Frisco" Michelle said it and Chloe looked at her offended,"You know that they hate it when you say Frisco" She shrugged after Chloe said that,"Doesnt matter, it's not like there are any citizens out here who have super hearing and heard what I said and will try to kill me" Chloe closed her eyes and mouthing oh my God, I looked down to spit, "Oh yeah. How's Finley doing over there" We somehow changed the subject, Michelle answered,"He's doing alright, scoping the cart out, see if there's anything holding the train back from going forward" Then I chimed in,"We're getting off track guys, we need to figure out the living situation" Gwen came out of the truck,"Its simple, we find a house big enough for all of us and we stay in there temporarily" We all looked at each other,"W-We thought we lost you back there"
"No,everyone was being noisy the first night we stayed there, I decided to sleep in that truck over there" The one with the supplies,"Then Michelle's driving here woke me up and I thought this truck being taken away" Michelle leaned on the side of the truck,"Thank you so much"
"You're welcome" Then Chloe didn't think it was a good idea and here's why,"Yeah I do think it's a good idea, but this is San Francisco, this isn't Lincoln City anymore, we stayed in a house and that was when we lost everything. This is a city bigger than Lincoln city" She was right, we agreed, not Gwen she didn't understand, but she knew what happened,"She has a point Gwen, I mean this is California, have you seen how many walkers we pass by in small towns?" She nodded,"That is gonna be one block, 2 blocks of walkers as a matter of fact" Gwen agreed,"So houses are out"
"Every block is gonna be swarmed by walkers, its gonna be hell getting through 415" We also realized that Gwen wasnt there when Andrea mentioned 415, so she asked,"What's 415?"
"San Francisco" Michelle asked me how my stomach is now,"Its still a little out of it, but other than that, talking seems to be keeping my mind off of it" Gwen suggested that I should lie down,we pulled the tail end down so I could lay on it and Michelle loaded her gun,"I'm headed back over there, Gwen you coming?"
"Might as well, you guys look like you have this covered" I did a thumbs up when they walked away, Chloe leaned against the tail end,"Do you think we'll make it back in one piece?"
"I have no idea Chloe, but if I'm being honest here, I have a feeling that this mission just got more interesting" She nodded
