Rendezvous @ Midnight

Cameron POV
Winter was here, but snow wasn't, I guess that was one of the benefits of being here, we don't have to worry about heat around this time. I went over to Colton,"What's the progression?" He looked at his clipboard and told me everyone's progression, even my sister,"Savannah is progressing, she is currently in Javelin" I looked at him confused,"Javelin?"
"Spear training basically" I crossed my arms,"Must be new" He shook his head,"Been around for a year"
"Why wasn't I put in it?" He shrugged,"Ah well" He looked over,"Woods, is there something on your mind?" I shook my head as I crossed my arms,"No, what makes you think that?" He pointed at his face,"You have that look that you feel the need to talk about something"
"I'll take that up to Elizabeth, no worries" He nodded,"I need to get to Pro Archery now"
"Good luck man"
"See you Rodriguez" I walked over and saw Savannah sharpening weapons,"Hey Savannah" She looked over,"They're on their mission right now" I nodded,"Why aren't we out there with them? Marilyn and Fynn?"
"You know why"
"I still think we should go out there with them"
"You heard Kavanaugh, we aren't ready yet" She turned around,"When Cameron? Huh? When" I looked down at her,"When he says so, Marilyn and Fynn are out there because they have experienced for being out there, not just being with Blaire" She looked and nodded,"Okay, wanna help me out with these, my partner bailed on me"
"Sure thing"

-Meanwhile in Etna, California-

Blaire POV
I looked up at the opening and dirty water was dripping onto my face, I was standing there holding onto my silent gun, Dylan walked over to me,"Hey what are you doing over here?"
"Do you hear that?" He looked up too,"No"
"Exactly, need to check it out" He put his hand on my shoulder,"We need to let the others know"
"We did, many times and we've been underneath the city for days, we can't do this to them again, we need to make sure this time"
"At least have backup with you" I thanked him and we climbed up there, I opened it slowly and looked around,"All clear?"
"There's barely walkers"
"Perfect" I closed it and a walker stepped on it, I almost slipped and fell, but my fast reflex and Dylan catching me slightly helped,"Jesus Christ"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm alright, let's go let the others know" We found our way back and they were just sitting there, talking, making weapons out of the walkers that we looted in,"We finally found a way out"
"Are you sure?" I nodded,"I checked, my best estimate for walkers roaming in the area, there's at least 10-20" Pete got up,"That's not a bad estimate, we can take em" He loaded his gun then Cayden got up,"What are we waiting for? A herd of walkers coming through here?" We heard snarling and they were all walking towards us in both directions,"You just had to say something Cayden" Gwen said to him,"They're not running, so we can walk out of here, we're okay"
"Walk? No running? Okay, I'm alright with that" Sam said to us, "The stench in these sewers can mask our smell, so we'll make it out of here safely" Do we showed them the way back up,"Here we are, still in one piece"
"So far" Dylan said out loud, it was cloudy which was strange, for us anyway,"We've been in the dark too long Blaire"
"Still better than being a walker" We pulled out the map, we made copies by tracing it in case we lose another,"We are in Etna right now and we need to head South to at least Trinidad"
"Trinidad? What about Rio Dell?"
"It's too far, we have to take it slow" Nolan looked over and asked Patrick why he said that,"Take it slow?"
"There's only 8-12 hours to daylight and we can't travel at night, it's risky. We need to find a motel in Trinidad" So we made it to Trinidad, but not on foot anymore, we managed to get a bus for us to work and we went to this motel called Sea Cliff Motel, we unloaded our stuff in rooms, Dylan and I were in the same room, he was changing,"How long should we stay here?"
"I'm guessing a couple days, I don't know, but we need to scout for supplies, we can't survive on just granola bars and water for at least a week, we're gonna need more"
"I know Dylan, I know" I put my arms around him, he looked at me,"It's been a while since we've had alone time" He nodded and hugged me tightly,"Everything that we're doing, we didn't even think to just be with each other" He said to me softly, I agreed with him
