I understand, believe it or not me and Namjoon have had our ups and downs
And way before he popped the question of being boyfriends, he shut off his feelings towards me like you are doing now. He told me all about it one night, when he asked me to be his boyfriend, and I had had no idea.
Thankfully, he told me and we took a leap of faith and look where we are now.
What I'm trying to say is, is that you only live once, and when you shut away your feelings and not take that leap of faith you are preventing your own happiness, which you silently long for most of the time.

      Yoongi laid on his bed, exhausted and over stressed from his major overthinking. The words Jin had said to him touched his heart but still had yet to convince him. He knew Jimin would probably be hung up on Taemin for awhile, and he shouldn't wait around because it will only prolong his pain. But he didn't want to tell Jimin anything yet. As he laid there staring at the ceiling, slowly slipping into comfortable sleep, his dorm door opened, and Jungkook stepped in with a bag of takeout. Yoongi's exhaustion was gone in a blink of an eye, hunger overtaking him. He ran over to Jungkook and hugged him quickly, then snatched the takeout bag from the younger's hand.
"Thanks." Yoongi said as he sat on his bed taking out the Chinese food and setting everything up for himself and Jungkook.
Jungkook chuckled and sat criss-crossed on the floor in front of Yoongi,
"Hyung talk to me first. Eat later." He said with a tone that held the type of mood that Jin would often use when there was wrappers and garbage lying around his apartment and nobody would help him clean it up.
Yoongi sighed, "It's just the usual. Me overthinking and I had a small panic attack but it's all fine. I'm fine now. Everything's good, I talked to Jin anyway." After he said this, Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"You're not fine. I know because you're slightly slipping into your satoori. I know it's because of Jimin, and I think talking about it might make you feel better. It does with me."
Yoongi huffed out a frustrated grunt,
"Damn you for knowing me so well." Jungkook laughed a belly laugh at that, making Yoongi feel a bit better. "It's just, I'm tired of shutting away my feelings. And Jimin is rarely ever around anymore and he's always with Taemin. It kinda hurts. I don't like it and I want to move on because I know he won't ever like me back because he views me as an older brother, which he told me so, so don't go telling me that I'm assuming things, because I'm not. And I just want to move on and be back to my old self, where all I needed was me, myself, and I, and I didn't have to worry where Jimin was, who he was with, and staying up all night telling myself that Jiminie will never like me." Yoongi took in a deep breath after letting it all out, and realized he was crying a bit and Jungkook was hugging him.
"I'm sorry Hyung. I'm sorry I can't offer you any meaningful advice, but just know that sometimes you may love somebody and they might not necessarily love you back, and it's ok. There are a ton of other people lining up for you and it's not worth your tears." Jungkook whispered while hugging Yoongi tightly. Yoongi nodded and hugged the younger back just as tightly, afraid of letting go.
"Thank you so much Kook. I really needed that, and I really appreciate you." Yoongi said back, giving him a watery laugh and wiping at his eyes. "Now let's eat! I don't wanna cry anymore!" Yoongi finished, making Jungkook laugh once more and dig into the Chinese food with Yoongi.
