I explored the abandoned library as Brennen, Corey and Jake had to discuss something and I was just too bored. There weren't many books since, well it's deserted but some looked interesting.

I ran my hand over them and observed them, when I tripped slightly. I caught myself by leaning my hand on the wall, when it was pushed in and the wall turned into a secret passage way.

I looked back once thinking if Brennen and the others should know where I am, but they'll eventually find me. I walked in, flicking on my flashlight as I lit my path. I arrived to a big room, which looked like some sort of lab.

But why would a lab be hidden behind a library, was what made it even sketchier. Work tables, medical cabinets and information related books were placed around. OR tables with straps to hold patients down, were placed in symmetry and patient files were scattered on the ground.

This place looked deserted but not as much. It's like someone's still comes here. I'm not certain though.

Chest X-rays or as they call them Chest films, were thrown on one of the work tables. I picked one up and realized that whoever this x-ray belonged to, either didn't have a heart or it was removed.

Both the lungs and chest bones were present but the place where the heart should have  been located was empty. I placed down the X-ray and continued looking around, when the tunnel door closed, startling me.

I looked back and saw Brennen, Corey and Jake standing there. But something didn't feel right. They were moved aside, when a man with grey eyes appeared. Nightingale. Brennen, Corey and Jakes's eyes were also grey.

They're under his control. I'm alone on this one. "Thank you, boys." The man said patting their backs as he walked closer. I tried grabbing the needle behind me, when Jake appeared behind me.

He snatched it out of my hand and grabbed me before throwing me into the ground in front of the satisfied looking Nightingale. Jake crushed the needle and threw it on the ground next to me.

That's when I realized it was the same Nightingale that attacked us in the abandoned mansion. "Good to be back." He said in a deep voice as he smirked.

Jake stood behind me while Corey and Brennen stood behind the it. He raised his hand into the air and bar shaped cement shot from the ground around me, trapping me. It was formed into a cage like structure with no door.

I can't get out.

I sit on the ground, my back against the bars as I stare at nothing. After two hours of being gone, the Nightingale returned. "Stand up." Brennen demanded as hit the bars with his sheath, a clanging sound erupting.

I obliged and stood up as I glare at him slightly. "What do you want from me, you freak?" I huffed and Jake growled. "Your power is what I want. Then I want your heart." The Nightingale said through gritted teeth.

He raised both of his arms when I felt energy being drained from me. Gold swirls surrounded him as my eyes turned gold and I flew above the ground. Wind swirled around me, a gold glow surrounding me before the Nightingale dropped his arms.

I dropped to the ground groaning, as I felt exhaustion and the lack of energy take over me. I glanced into Corey's eyes before mine automatically closed.
