I run through between the machines as Shapeshifters chase me. "Shit." I mumbled as another one appeared ahead of me.

I dropped to the ground and rolled under one of the machines. I crawled out and ran away when I had the chance to, hoping Brennen and the others'll come back. They were ordered to a troop meeting and since the leader obviously doesn't like me, along with the rest, I was stuck here.

I ran around the corner as I breathed heavily. "Come out, come out~" one of them sang before laughing evilly. I gulped when they passed by me and tried holding in my breath. I found the chance to ran and took it.

I climbed up the ladder and ran across the thin metal platform as one of them tried grabbing my leg. I backed away as he approached me and looked down in fear from the high fall.

I reached a dead end, as I couldn't walk any further. He smirked and jumped on the platform causing it to shake. I almost stumbled down but caught myself. He jumped again causing my foot to slip.

I fell off the platform and prepared myself for the impact, when I felt nothing. I opened my eyes confused and the ground was surely close to me. I looked up and realized my ankles were caught up in the chains.

I tried loosening them quickly but it was too tangled up. The Shapeshifters stood by me as they licked their lips and I just hung there, arms swaying. "Thanks for the favor." One of them smirked and walked closer.

My eyes widened and I put up my hands in defense as I shut my eyes tightly. Suddenly, the door was swung open and in came a growling Brennen, Corey and Jake right behind them.

The shifters snapped their heads in their direction and stood closer to me as they grabbed my legs to keep me still. "Get away from him." Brennen demanded and the shifters just laughed.

Jake pulled out a dagger and threw it. "Great shot." One of the shifters said as he dug his nails into my flesh causing me to groan. The dagger was stuck in between the chains and I noticed Corey had disappeared.

I moved my ankles around and the dragged fell, almost stabbing me and dropped on the ground under me. Thankfully the two were too distracted to realize. I reached down as much as I can and grabbed the dagger before stabbing it in the shifters leg.

He screeched in pain and Corey cut the chain holding me. I dropped on the ground with an 'oof' and rolled, when one of them tried, well killing me. Jake charged for the other shifter and another one appeared.

Brennen charged at it while I shuffled away from the first shifter. Corey tackled him to the ground and I got loose of the chains when I was grabbed from behind. Claws were placed at my neck as my captor strangled me.

My breathing quickened as I gulped. "Damon." Brennen growled as he slit the shifter's throat. "What do you want, Damon?! Just get it over with!" Corey yelled. "I want your little lover here. And if I can't have him, I'll take him like I'm going to do now." Damon said darkly and we disappeared.

We appeared in a dark room, barley lit and I was thrown onto the ground. "I said it once and I'll say it again, Damon. I will not join you." I said as I looked up at him. "Oh, I know. It's unfortunate but I have you either way." He said eyes turning darker.

Two vampires appeared behind me and grabbed me before cuffing me to the wall. I struggled against the cuffs and glared at Damon. "I can make you powerful. I can make you rule the world, Cole." He said.

"You can't do shit. Let alone kill me. You need me. Without me you can't complete your plans. Just know whatever you do to me, as much as you torture me, pain me, I will never join you. You want to make yourself powerful. Not me." I said through gritted teeth.
