"Don't waste your time." Brennen said suddenly, catching his attention. "The power is in his heart. Take it." Brennen said again and I was dropped to the ground. He seemed to consider it and said "Strap him down." as he lowered my bars.

Brennen and Jake walked over as they grabbed my arms and dragged me to the OR table. They threw me on and I groaned in pain. "No.." I whispered weakly as they strapped my arms and wrists down.

"Please.." I whispered again as I looked weakly into Brennen's eyes. He stared into my eyes before securing the strap and walking over to my ankles. The Nightingale cut off my shirt, exposing my bare chest.

"I want him to feel the pain as I rip his heart out and hold it in my bare hands." He said psychopathically as he laughed and dragged over a small portable stand filled with small knives and sharp objects.

I opened my eyes slightly as they felt droopy to the lack of strength in me.

I tried moving my wrists around but gave up when it was no use, my fists automatically unclenching. The Nightingale walked over, holding the small but sharp knife. He placed it over the middle of my chest, a little to the left and almost over my heart.

Brennen removed my belt and looped it before putting it in my mouth. I shivered as the cold metal came in contact with my skin, when I felt a wave of power hit me. I snapped my eyes open, once again pure gold, and everyone was blasted away from me.

I felt the usual pain, this time throughout my full body and tried focusing on something else. The pain died down and my eyes went back to normal. Corey grabbed one of the needles with a weird colored serum and quickly stabbed it into the nightingale.

"No!" He screeched as his skin began to melt until he was fully gone. Brennen and Jake groaned as they slowly stood up. They walked towards me, causing me to shuffle. "Woah, woah, woah. Calm down." Brennen said as I struggled against the straps, desperate.

His eyes turned back to its natural glowing green and Jake's eyes turned into the normal red as well as Corey's. I panted as my chest heaved up and down, trying to relax.  Brennen unstrapped my wrist and I undid my other one as Jake undid my ankles.

I unbuckled my torso and took out the belt from my mouth. "Are you okay?" Jake asked, Brennen looking at me waiting for my answer. I nodded and they helped me down.

"Thank you." I breathed out. "That was close." Corey said and walked over. "Everyone truly are after me, aren't they?" I said chuckling lightly. "What more do you want? You're famous." Corey said laughing.

I sit on one of the park benches as I eat a burger and drink my soda. Thankfully I still had my hoodie in my backpack or else I would've been exposed. "How can you eat such?" Jake asked making a gag sound.

"I could eat this all day." I said laughing at their faces. "Well, it's currently night and we  should be off." Brennen said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

I had to got to a random shop to buy some needed stuff and after arguing for three minutes with the vamps I'm stuck with, I went in either way. Thankfully everything was cheap so I could buy in good prices.

I grabbed two flashlights, some snacks, a random shirt, water and a sleeping bag before paying. I didn't buy sleeping bags for Brennen, Jake and Corey since they barley slept in them and ditched them the second night.

I shoved everything into my bag and put it over my shoulders before walking out to meet thee angered vampires. I smiled nervously and began walking as they followed, sending a few glares here and there.

I lay on the ground of the deserted factory, on top of my sleeping bag as I stare up into the stars. Just beautiful.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep sooner than expected but exhaustion overcame me.
