Chapter 21: Scenario

**Midoriya's POV**

It had been a few days since the strange visions I had seen in my sleep, and I now found myself on my way back to the rest of the league.

Although I wanted to spend as much time as possible over at UA observing and as little time as possible doing useless errands, there was still the issue of food and water.

My supplies had run out that morning and I needed to stock up again before I could continue my surveillance.

I waited until nightfall before making my journey back to our hideout. There was no way I was going to risk being spotted in the day.

It didn't take me long to reach the place.

"Ahh Midoriya, your back," said Shigaraki as I entered the doorway.

"Have you been able to gather the information you needed?"

"I've been making good progress. But I feel there is still more I can learn." Shigaraki seemed pleased by this.

"Anything else to report?"

"Nothing that comes to mind," I replied.

For some reason, I found myself not wanting to tell him about the encounter I had in my sleep.

It would probably be better that Shigaraki didn't think I was crazy.

"Good. I'll give you a week more to finish your reconnaissance, then we move to phase two."

"What's phase two?" I asked him curiously.

"Good question Midoriya, because We'll need you to help us pull it off." he began.

"We currently know that UA has a certain power core somewhere inside its walls. We're trying to narrow down the location as much as we can. The point is, this energy core would be the perfect thing to use to wipe out class 1A."

"It has special properties that would make it easy and efficient, plus wouldn't it be fitting to have the young heroes be killed by something developed by heroes?"

"Either way, In about 1 weeks time we plan to pull off a heist at the school in order to acquire this core. But for this to work, we are going to need as many of the teachers and students out of the way as we can."

"You made quite an impression on UA with your appearance, so when the time of the heist comes your part is to make some noise over in the city. Make sure you're seen, we want as many teachers and students as possible to go find you and leave the school unguarded."

"They won't have everyone leave of course, but it should be enough to make our job a little easier."

I thought over the plan in my head.

It wasn't flawless, not by a long shot. But considering the odds stacked against us, this was probably our best bet of pulling off something like this.

Plus Toga's quirk could help the infiltration team deal with any unforeseen trouble.

"Alright, I can do that," I said.

"Perfect," said Shigaraki

"Now you'd better get back to your previous engagement. The clock is ticking after all."

"Right! I'll be back in a week."

I quickly restocked my rations and headed out again as fast as I could. I only had 1 more week to conduct my research and I wanted to make the most of every second. I needed to make sure I was prepared because when the time came to do what I needed to, I knew I would have to face these young heroes.

In order to accomplish my dream for this world, they had to die.
