Dinner

'BARK!!'

Kuroos eyes widened, and saw Atticus being pet by you, "hey! I kinda bailed on you last time you asked to eat lunch together, wanna try again?" You smiled. Kuroo was lost for words, "H-how?" He trailed off. "I checked in late and got some extra sleep, can you believe it they let me go home at 3:00 in the morning! It was ridiculous!" You ranted.

Kuroo smiled, "you idiot!" You stood up and walked over to the tree. "Let's eat! Dont forget to keep track of time!" You laughed. Kuroo smirked...

"...Ok!"

The both of you had a fun time and didnt lose track of time this time. You started to pack Atticus's things, "uh hey.." Kuroo said grabbing your attention "hm?" You hummed. "Are you still coming to dinner tonight?" He asked. You smiled, "of course!"

It was the end of school and the boys were practicing while you were watching with Atticus by your side. Earlier Lev had come up to you and asked if you were ok, so did Dottie but it was more dramatic in her case. "YEAH!" You herd a loud scream come from Lev, he had blocked one of the balls.

"Alright let's pick up the balls and put away the net!" Kuroo said to the team. You took Atticus off the leach and put it around your neck, and started helping pick up the balls. "Ok Atticus! Let's help out!" You said, he ran up to a ball and started rolling it with his nose. He rolled it to the basket, the team found this cute and funny. "Wow he is very helpful!" Yaku said. You smiled, "he also helps me with groceries, sometimes I buy more than I thought and he helps carry them!!" You laughed nervously.

"Well you ready?" Kuroo asked. "Oh yeah! I do need to stop at the convenience store first and pick up some supplies!" You said. "Alright let's go ahead and go" Kuroo smiled.

You were at the convenience store and ended grabbing things to make dinner in the future. "I told my Nana that I would pick up a few things" you said "sorry!"

"Na dont worry about it, it's fine I like helping you!" Kuroo smiled. You blushed and frantically walking fast to the cashier. You put two bags on Atticus, and Kuroo too three bags while you had two. "Thanks for the help!" You smiled nervously. "Its no problem!"

"I cant wait to meet your parents!" You said smiling, Kuroo didnt react, "Kuroo? Is something the matter?" You asked. "Huh? Oh, no it's just..." he took a breath thinking if he should tell you this. "My dad isnt around anymore, it's just me and my mom" he said.

You gasped, "I'm so sorry to here that!" You said getting sad. "Ah dont worry about it, he left when I was 10 so I'm past it." He smiled. You still couldnt help but feel sympathy for the bed headed boy that stood before you.

"Ok you can come in and set the groceries down" you said opening the door. "I'm home!!" You yelled, "ah welcome home you got groceries?" Your Nana yelled, "yep!" You said. "Ok I'll come help unpack" you Nana walked into the kitchen and saw Kuroo. "Ah hello Kuroo dear" your Nana said. "Ah hello miss!" He bowed. You were shocked, "you two know each other?" You asked.

"Yes child, he was the one that ran all the way from the school to the house and told me what happened to you!" You Nana smiled. You blushed, "you ran all that way?? Tell me you drank water after that?!! Is that why you were so tired and fell asleep?!" You said question after question. Kuroo shushed you, "shh I'm fine! Dont worry I did drink water." He laughed. "Anyways I have to go get ready for tonight, see ya later (F/N)!!" He smiled heading for the door. "Yep! See ya!!" You said waving bye.
