Kuroo X Reader

Nightmare

You sat on the couch in your night clothes and Atticus laying next to you one one side while you and Kuroo were wrapped in a blanket. "Here ya go kiddo" Kuroos mother said to you handing a cup of hot coco. You smiled and nodded as a thanks, "how are you feeling?" Kuroo asked. Your hair was covering face, "I'm ok..." you said. Kuroo pushed your hair behind your ear and smiled, "that's better!"

You smiled and leaned your head on his shoulder. "Ok kiddos I'm heading off to bed, go to sleep early so you arent tired in the morning!" His mom said. She went upstairs and as soon as she disappeared you got up to put your cup away in the sink. "Shes right, we should head to bed..." you said. Kuroo got up from the couch and came behind you and gave you a hug, "Kuroo-" "Shh just enjoy the moment..." he interrupted you, you kinda gave him the cold shoulder and pushed him off.

"I'm sorry Kuroo I just need to get to bed..." you said walking upstairs with Atticus trailing behind you. Kuroo soon went after you to find you in his room already getting settled. You were sitting on the bed petting Atticus fac
ing away from Kuroo, he came up behind you and wrapped his arm around your waist. "Do you wanna talk about it..?" He asked, you shook your head "no I just wanna sleep..."

You crawled on one side of the bed and he did the same on his. You laid facing away from him, you did have tears in your eyes but luckily the lights were off by this time and he didnt notice.

'Sniff'

That was it you knew he noticed you were crying now, how could you not. All the events that had just happened, Kuroo getting the worst of it too. Kuroo pulled you close to him, even though he couldnt see you, he knew you were upset and in pain. "Its gonna be ok...I promise..." he said. You turned around and hugged him tight, "im...sorry.." you mumbled into his chest. "You dont have a reason to be sorry...you couldnt control what happened." Kuroo said, "just get some rest" he added. He kissed your forehead making you smile, "goodnight.."

"GET UP! GET UP YOU PEICE OF SHIT!"

"M-mo..mommy p-please....stop i-it..."

"DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO YOU TRAMP!!"

Your mom had now faded and you were in a dark room with only the under door light. You tried to twist the handle but it was locked, soon the door itself opened to reveal a man, your father. He smirked and then lunged at you.

You woke up in a cold sweat breathing uncontrollably, Atticus was wide awake and so was Kuroo. He turned the lamp on next to his bed and sat up straight, "hey, hey, hey, what happened.." he asked holding onto your side. You were crying, "t-they...oh god..I was s-so scared!!" You said burying your face in Kuroos chest. He stroked your head, "hey, look it was only a nightmare. Nothing is gonna get you, I promise." He whispered. Your sobs become quieter every second, "thank...you..." you murmured. You looked up at Kuroo with wet, tired eyes "dont thank me...let's just get back to bed" he said smiling. You looked down and put your head back on his chest, he smiled softly "dont worry I'll be here..."
The both of you finally went back to sleep.

'Beep beep BEEP BEEP!!'

The alarm woke Kuroo up but surprisingly not you, he turned and turned the alarm off. He turned back and laid in bed looking at your soft skin and your messy (H/C) hair. You looked so at peace when you were asleep. You also drooled a little which made Kuroo smirk. "Hey...(F/N) it's time to get up..." Kuroo whispered. You moved your face into the pillow and groaned. "Noooo...." you moaned, Kuroo smirked widely "I'm gonna roll on you!" You clenched the pillow, "dont you dare..." you murmured.

Kuroo laughed and started to steamroll onto you, "GA!! KUROO YOU'RE FAT GET OFF!!" You yelled in the pillow. He smirked, "call mercy!!" You laughed and started to roll yourself, the both of you fell off the bed and you landed on top of him. Atticus's ears perked up, "you say mercy now!" You said holding Kuroo down. The both of you were face to face and Kuroo smirked, he leaned up and kissed your nose. Your eyes widened and you blushed hardcore, you dropped your head on Kuroos chest. "Mercy..." you mumbled, Kuroo laughed "come on let's get ready!" He said playing with your hair.

Once the both of you were dressed you went downstairs to eat breakfast, "hey kiddos, how'd you sleep?" Kuroos mother asked making breakfast. "I slept fine!" You smiled taking out a bowl and some leftover food for Atticus, "here ya go boy!" You smiled. You sat down and joined the two at the table, "thank you for the food!" You and Kuroo said. As the both of you ate Kuroos mom couldnt help but smirk at the the both of you. "Mom your staring..." Kuroo said not looking up from his food. "Sorry, sorry!!" She put her hands up in defense. You laughed almost spitting out your food, "dont choke!!" Kuroo yelled at you handing you a napkin.

After eating you headed off for school, "it's kinda early to leave isnt it?" You asked. "I like to get to school early and go to the gym and practice a bit" he smiled nervously scratching his head. "Sorry guess it's just my daily routine!"
You smiled up at him, "dont worry, we can still head to the gym!!" You said.

Once you got to the gym you had Atticus sit down next to the door and the both of you changed and started tossing the volleyballs. "Ok! Ready!" You said and then tossed it up so he could spike it. "Woo!!" You cheered, "alright a few more!" Kuroo said.

After a few more tosses you went back to change, "hey you-" Kuroo started walking in on you "do you mind?" You asked trying to put your shirt on. Kuroo smirked "nope not at all!~"  you rolled your eyes and continued getting dressed. "Ok come on you pervert!" you said giving Kuroos face a light tap. You both went your separate ways and went to class. Once you went to your class everyone stared at you, 'ok is it just me or is everyone staring?' You asked yourself.

"Hey, (L/N)~chan are you dating Kuroo Tetsuro?" Somebody asked. You froze, "uh...um who told y-you?" You asked. "So it is true!!" Another person said, "we herd from Akemi, well from her friends..." somebody else said. You gulped, "shit..." you said to yourself. "Yeah apparently Kuroo~san messed with her brother!!" People were now whispering about it.

You took a deep breath and almost started to panic, "seriously guys..?" A strange voice came from the back and everyone turned "cant you see this is giving (L/N)~chan a slight panic attack? Shut up and stop talking about it!!" The boy said quite harshly. You smiled and gave a silent thanks, 'who is that boy? Is he new or did I just not see him?!' You thought.

It was the end of class and you wanted to give a better thanks to the boy, you walked up to him "uhm, thank you very much!" You bowed. He laughed, "dont worry about it, it was kinda getting on my nerves as well!" He smiled. "Uh what's your name?" You asked.

"The names Atsuki Rei!"
