Sleeping Beauty Wakes

Monday came quick, Kuroo walked to school as did others. He felt something wasnt right, you weren't there. He sighed and moved his bag up his shoulder, he thought of Dottie and the kiss. He felt bad for her but he didnt have any feelings for her, plus he was dating you and Kuroo wasnt a cheater. He was gonna have to tell you sometime when you woke up, "damnit"

The room felt warmer than normal, it was still semi dark because of how early it was. Your eyes opened but not all the way due to how tired and drained you were. 'So...I'm alive? That's good...I guess...' you sat up soon to fall down due to the pain in your side. 'Ah shit..' you sighed. You looked down and saw Atticus lying on your legs, you smiled and used your arm to call him closer to pet him. He moved close enough for you to pet his head, "you stinker..."

Soon a doctor came in and asked you a few questions and telling you a few things you shouldnt do. "I wouldnt try and move much so you dont open the wound. Try to eat soft things, nothing to hard or chewie" He said. You nodded slightly, "could you please open the curtain please so I could look out the window.." you said dully. He nodded and walked to the window and pushed the curtains opened. You slightly sat up enough to see out and you watched people walk in and out. 'Where is my phone...maybe I could call Nana or Pa...no they are at work...maybe Kuroo? Nope he is at school...' you sighed looking around the room for your phone but it was obvious it was not there, why would it be?

'Knock knock!'

You snapped your head towards the door, "come in..." you said. Soon a black haired came through the door.

"Ah hello Mrs. Kuroo!" You smiled. "Ah nice to see you awake and well!" She smiled. "Awake, yes! Well....no" you joked making her laugh. Mrs. Kuroo had a bag in her hand and pulled out a small treat for Atticus and handed to him. She soon pulled out a drink and then another, "here ya go kiddo!" She smiled handing one to you. You smirked, "did you know I was gonna wake up?" You asked. She smiled and nodded, "yep, the doctors said you would but I didnt know how early. I got a call and they said you were awake so I came here as quick as I could!"

You smiled and then you lost it, "how...did Kuroo react? Is he ok?" You asked concerned. The black haired woman sighed, "he...was a reck, to be frank with you everyone was. He blamed himself for what happened." She looked at you and saw your eyes were dilated down and your eyebrows were furrowed. "It wasnt his fault...gosh I'm so sorry..." you said. "Dont apologize kiddo it's fine, its nobodys fault...well..." she thought about your mom. "She is in jail...isnt she?" You asked in desperation hoping she was. Mrs. Kuroo shook her head, "court, that's where your grandparents are right now. She is obviously gonna get proven guilty for attempted murder"

You looked out the window and gave a small sigh, "that one girl also came by...her name was...Dottie? Yes Dottie!" The woman said. "Oh..? I'm guessing Kuroo told her?" You questioned. "Yes, she is a super nice girl as well, but when we left the Hospital after staying the night she left in a rush, dunno why?" Mrs. Kuroo said. You shook your head in confusion, "wait you stayed the night?!" You asked. "Yep, like I said Kuroo was a mess and he didnt want to leave. He stayed in that chair all night, Dottie soon came later but we were both asleep." She said.

You smiled a bit, 'what idiots...'

"Hey Kuroo where is (F/N)?" Kenma asked, Kuroo gave him a slight look "woah man are you ok, you look tired!! Remember what coach said? Sleep well!!" Yaku got on his tail. "Sorry...I couldnt sleep..." he said. "Did you and (F/N) get into a fight? DID YOU GUYS BREAK UP?!" Lev asked getting ahead of himself. "No no no it's not like that!" Kuroo started "but I should be asking you that!" Kuroo glared at Lev.
