Witch and her child

After a long time of struggling and arguing, you guys finally got the tent pitched. "Geez, I say that we did pretty good, ya?" You looked over at Kuroo who was complaining about his hand hurting. "How does your hand hurt from this when you block a ball coming from another person?!" You questioned. He sighed, "it just does ok!" You laughed at him, "come on we have things we still need to do." You said.

Once everything was ready for the camp out everyone sat down on blankets or chairs and talked. It started to get dark, "SMORES!!" Yamamoto and Lev shouted as Yaku and Keman were getting out the supplies for the smores. You were sitting on a blanket with Atticus and Kuroo, around the fire and everyone was talking and enjoying themselves. "Hey, we should all tell scary stories!" The coach suggested. "Yeah! That seems fun!" You said.

"And then....she noticed it was knocking at her bedroom door!!" Yamamoto screamed. Everyone got the chills, "wow, I actually got the chills. Look!" Dottie said showing her arm to Akemi. Everyone laughs. "Ahh thank you everyone for their stories! Now I think it's time to hit the hay, dont you guys think?" The coach asked everyone. You all nodded and some even yawned, "well you ready for bed?" Kuroo asked you. You smiled and nodded, "yeah, help me real quick to fold the blanket" you said getting up.

After cleaning up you both changed at a time in the tent, you felt so small in Kuroos clothes, "awweee!" Dottie and Akemi screamed "(F/N)! You look so cute!!" They said. You laughed nervously, "you think? It's not the first time I've worn his clothes..." you mumbled the last part. The girls squeaked, "awee how cute! Well we are also gonna head to bed, see ya in the morning (F/N)!" They said. You waved, "night!"

You, Kuroo, and Atticus were snuggled up together sleeping soundly when Atticus jerked awake. You woke up from Atticus's movement, "hey...bud, what is it..?" You yawned. Atticus growled but soon after he began to whimper, this made you stiffen. You put your hand on Atticus's back to try to clam him down. Soon you saw a dark figure brush against your tent, "holy-" you muttered. You quickly shook Kuroo awake, "hey...Kuroo...wake up...I think somebody's outside our tent..?" You said.

Kuroo rolled over to you and sighed, "its probably just somebody from the team?" He brushed if off. "No no! Atticus growled at it, now he is scared out of his mind! Look he's shaking." You said. Kuroo looked at Atticus who was clearly about to poop himself, "hey bud its ok, how about I go check it out ok?" He spoke to the both of you. "Only if I come with!" You said. He nodded in agreement and you grabbed Atticus and exited the tent.

"I'm gonna check everyone's tent, ok?" Kuroo said. You nodded, "I'll look around with Atticus" you said. You two split up and looked around, soon you found yourself a little ways away from the camp. Atticus began to whimper, "hey, hey bud its ok!" You said. You herd a snap come from behind you, you shined the flashlight towards the snap but saw nothing. "Uuhh ok I'm officially terrified out of my mind..." you shivered. You began to walk back to the camp, soon you felt something heavy on your chest. 'What the hell?!' You thought falling to the ground. Atticus quickly ran up to your side, you sat on your knees looking at the ground. You eyes were watering, your heart racing causing you to clench your chest. 'Something isnt right...' you thought. Atticus barked loud every second, he was trying to call somebody.

~Kuroos POV~

Kuroo finished checking everyone's tent which was fine, "ah, she probably is just seeing things" he said. Soon he heard barking, "Atticus..?" He questioned. It was like he was barking at somebody, no for someone. Kuroo followed the sound of it and once he saw Atticus he saw you on the ground.

"(F/N)!" He ran up to you, he saw you crying and breathing heavily. "Hey, your ok!" He said holding you in his arms. "Its free-freezing" you said shivering. Kuroo was confused, "(F/N) it's really not that cold..." he said softly. "Something...i.." you could barely speak. Soon you both herd giggling, that set Atticus off, he began to growl. "What the-" "hey! Are you both ok?" Somebody said interrupting Kuroo. You both looked and saw Lev and Yaku, "hey! Guys why are you up?" Kuroo said. "We herd Atticus barking, almost everyone is awake" Yaku said.

Everyone sat back at the camp, they started a new fire for light. "So (F/N) what happened?" The coach asked. "I woke up to Atticus growling, then he began to whimper....then I saw a shadow...after that I woke up Kuroo and we checked around the camp. I didn't even notice but I was farther away from the camp then I thought. I began to walk back when a sudden rush of anxiety and something cold came over me..." you said.

"You know what that sounds like?" Akemi said, everyone turned their head. "It sounds like the witch of the woods and her ghost child..." She finished. "Wha- what?!" Almost everyone was confused. Akemi began, "long ago a woman and her child ran away from their village for being accused as a witch. They found her and her child and killed them both in these woods" she finished. Everyone was stunned, "so...these woods are haunted..." you mumbled. "We did hear a child laugh right before Lev and Yaku came..." Kuroo shived.

"Well it's late and we should try to get more rest" the coaches said. You all nodded and headed back to your tents after putting out the fire. "I hope they dont come back..." you said petting Atticus. "Dont worry, it wont!" Kuroo said, "plus if it does I'll sing and it will run for sure!" He said. You laughed, "yeah ok, whatever!" "Just try to get some sleep, ok?" Kuroo said.
