Atticus

It was a Monday morning and your alarm woke you up, "uggghh!" You groaned. Atticus was there like always lying on your stomach. You smiled and patted his head, "morning buddy!"

You got out of bed and grabbed your uniform, you also grabbed you hat and gloves. You walked down stairs with Atticus beside you, "good morning!" You said walking into the kitchen to get Atticus's food. "Morning.." both of the grandparents said dully.

You gave a weird look, 'they arent normally this dull with their good mornings?' You thought. You shrugged it off, "so Nana, Pa?" You started grabbing their attention. "Dottie invited me to go to the movies with her and a few friends Wednesday? Can I go?" You asked sitting down at the table starting to eat. Your grandparents looked at each other, "well that's ok.." the said nervously.

You looked at them confused, "do you not want me to? I dont have to go if you dont want me too!?" You said waving your hands around. "No it's not that sweetie, you can go! Now hurry and get to school!" You Nana smiled. You nodded and finished eating.

You walked out the door and headed for school, the snow made you shiver. "Damn could it be any colder?" You said to Atticus. He was a dog so he had a built on coat, 'lucky bastard!' You thought.

You didnt walk to school with anyone today, once you got inside the building you put your coat and bag in your locker. "Hello!" A voice came you turned to see Kuroo and of course Akemi. "U-uh h-hi!" You said quickly going past him. "Uh hey wait!" He said but you were gone before he knew it. "What's wrong with her?" Kuroo questioned. Akemi smiked, "I'm not sure? Let's just go to class!"

'That bitch knows what's best for her!' Akemi thought, she latched onto Kuroo and pulled him to class.

You sat in your desk breathing heavily, you put your head down and started to pet Atticus. 'Holy shit am I gonna have to do that every morning?! God I hope not!" You thought to yourself.

Lunchtime finally came around, sadly you couldnt sit under the tree cause of the weather. You hated the cafeteria, all the noise was the worst. What was even worse was that Kuroo had spotted you looking around for a seat, he stuck his hand up and waved you over. You saw Akemi and she glared at you, you put your head down in shame and walked away acting like you didnt see Kuroo. "Shes a weirdo!" Akemi laughed with her friends. Kuroo rolled his eyes at her and got up, he walked over to the volleyball team.

You were feeding Atticus from his own little bowl, because you never ate in the cafeteria people gave you weird looks. "Hey!" A voice came, it was Kuroo and the volleyball team. "Ah! G-guys? What? Why- eh?!" You freaked the team smiled and took a seat. "We dont want our new friend to eat alone now do we!?" Yaku smiled. Your eyes were wide and you looked at Kuroo, 'did he do this?? That cheeky little butt!' you laughed, you had tears in your eyes. "Thank you guys!!"

'SNAP!!' Akemi had broken her fork, she was pissed. "That little TRAMP!!" She shouted, but soon a smirk came across her face. "Say! I have an idea!"

You had gone to the bathroom and you would leave Atticus outside the bathroom. Once you had gotten out you found Atticus was gone! "A-Atticus?!" You panicked looking around frantically. 'Atticus would never run off? Maybe he is waiting by my locker? It is the end of the day!' You thought.

You ran to your locker, passing Kuroo without even knowing it. Your mind was so locked on finding Atticus that you blocked everything out. Once you got to your locker you saw a note on it.
