Movie Night

     you flopped onto the end of the couch at the freetime house ready for the movie, even though it was 11:55pm. adi has chosen toy story, so that's what was on. the pizza had just been delivered,  jason was passing it around before taking a seat next to you.
   you had seen the movie about a million homes so you were half paying attention to it and half scrolling through your phone. though every once and awhile your eyes would wonder somewhere else. none other than to your crush joseph sim who was on the opposite side of the couch. you'd much rather glance there than at woody and buzz fight again.
   but when you glanced at him again you made eye contact, your heart stopped. you didn't know whether or not to keep looking at him. the moment felt like it lasted forever even though it probably wasn't any longer than a few seconds. what seemed almost simultaneously they both turned their attention back to the movie. they continued to glance at each other as the movie went on, but barely missed eye contact every time.
   as they were nearing the end of the movie the only people that remained downstairs was jojo, caylus, adi, and you. each time someone left y'all scooted in closer because you're all friends and it would be less awkward. finally the movie ended.
   "so that means it's bed time for me," adi said getting up.
   "same," caylus agreed.
   "i'm not all that tired, i think i'm going to turn on some y/f/tv," jojo said grabbing the remote and turning it on.
   "no way i love that show! i'll stay and watch some with you," you say.
   "alright insomniacs, see you in the morning," adi said with a small laugh before him and caylus headed their separate ways.
   "well come over here so you're not alone," jojo says with a small laugh, patting the the couch beside him. you scooted over beside him and watched tv in odd silence.
   y/n must've been more tired than they thought because next thing you know you woke up on the couch with your head on his shoulder. you smiled at the position before totally coming to and unsure of whether or not you should sit up.
   "awwww, jojo and y/n have a thing," adi teases.
   "uhm-" you two respond awkwardly but smiling.
